Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday, everyone!  How’s it going this week?

I AM HAPPY this week that the bulk of my taxes are finally done.  Boy, did I put off dealing with those this year. :luvsmenot   I’m usually done by mid-February, sometimes even before all those pesky forms arrive.  It’s such a pain to sort through all those bloody receipts & tally them up.  But I have done just about all I can on my own…the next step is dropping off everything with Tax Guy & letting him work his magic.  *snork*

I AM HAPPY with some of the new music I downloaded—“Despicable Me”…”Ho Hey”…”Heavy Cross”…  I cannot get “Despicable Me” out of my head & keep having this overwhelming desire to be Gru (or Vector) for a day. If a day is too long, how about just a couple of hours?  I’ve got some villainous things that need to be done, & his evil know-how would come in really handy. :muahaha

And I AM HAPPY that after I screwed up my own order with Chewy.com, the customer service lady was sweet as could be about fixing it.  I had such a duh moment, I can’t even tell you. :moonyou

How about you—what great stuff has taken place this week that you’d like to share?

Are you sure that winner isn’t Mary K.? lol I kid, I kid.. Congrats Mary M.

This week I am happy that last night my daughter and her boyfriend came over and we all watched twilight: Braking Dawn part 2. If you haven’t seen it…do. It was the best one so far.

    • Heidi says:

LOL I’m pretty sure it’s Mary M. & not Mary K. But if Mary M. doesn’t claim her prize, maybe you can call dibs. :tongue

I haven’t seen any of the Twilight movies yet (*hated* the first book I tried to read), but I do have them on the DVR & plan to check them out one of these days.

It has been a quiet week. But I did pick out the paint for the bathroom… It is going to be a beautiful shade of yellow with a cream accents… And I have my youngest niece here for the weekend. Has been a long time since it was just her and me… Today we are going out with my cousins daughter for lunch and then we are taking her home.
So enjoy your Sunday… : :topofthemornin

    • Heidi says:

Are you going to put your niece to work helping you paint? *g*

I love giving a room a new makeover. But then I also have that thing Seinfeld joked about…the feeling that every time you paint, it feels like the room got smaller. :drunklaugh You should post pics when you finish—I’m sure we’d all love to see the final results!

      • Kathleen O says:

A professional is coming into paint.. I never pick up a paint brush… We had a good time having brunch and doing some shopping…

  3. Colleen says:

Congrats to MaryM. & JoAnna! :topofthemornin
I helped my father with a painting project… but dumb dumb me did not put on any sunblock… so I am a lobster today. Hope everyone else has a better weekend!

    • Heidi says:

More painting! But oh, no! I hate that. And I hate that you never realize how burned you’re getting until it’s way, waaaay too late. Then it’s all just ouch-ouch-ouch-ouch. :waaa

  4. Laura J. says:

    Congrats to the winners!

It’s been a good and bad week. The good: New job (I love! so far) with better/steady hours (one 1 1/2 hours next 6-100 hours just wasn’t cutting it–I will m&g about that more tomorrow). Oldest is coming home tomorrow for 2 weeks (more on m&g about that tomorrow). AND I have heard reports of the weather heading into the 70s for us by next weekend-ish!!!!

Have a good rest of the weekend and a great next week!!!

    • Heidi says:

LOL Oh, good—lots to Moan & Groan about on the HappyBookers loop tomorrow! :tongue

Glad you’re liking the new job, tho! Is it what I think it is? :peekaboo

I thought it was getting warmer here today, but judging by the current temp, I was clearly WRONG! :splat:
