Word of the Week: buy-curious — A person who is just looking around, but may or may not actually be interested in buying something from a store.
Y’know how I asked y’all last week to keep an eye out for copies of The Boyfriend School on DVD for me? Well, that still stands—please add it to you shopping list & keep an eye out for them!
And of course, I’ve been looking all over for them, too.
Unfortunately, during my last two digs into the Wal-Mart & Big Lots bargain DVD bins, I found zero copies of The Boyfriend School. :sadheart I did, however, come home with the following to add to my ever-growing collection:

Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle
Chocolat
The Lost Boys
Batman Begins
Fern Gully: The Last Rainforest
Igor
Spiderman 2
Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory

A rat. Yep, went in only to buy food. I did get the food, but Phoebe was soooooo cute she had to come home with me too.

Well, that’s one thing I’ve never come home with…but I’ve wanted to! :blinkie Rats are so darn cute, & like Mary, I love their wiggly little noses & whiskers when they kiss you. :kisses

And when they talk to you! Phoebe fell asleep in her “pouch” that I wear around my neck. She was so cute!!!!!!! :angel I think I’m going to take her in to work/gymnastics one night when I pick up the B’girl and freak out a girl I work with. :devil

I’ve come home with rats before – two of ’em! I was working at a pet store and a little boy came in with tears in his eyes b/c his parents were making him give up his adult pet rats. As I was taking the cage from him he looked up at me and said, “Are snakes going to eat them?” (By the way, that’s what they likely would have been sold for) I took one look at his little face and said, “No, I promise.”
Those darn things lived another three years!

Awwww…what a good deed you did, Jessica. I’d have probably done the same. But weren’t they precious while you had them? (I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again—I love rats! :Bigthumbs )

:socool I also loved that movie – but have it on VHS as “Don’t Tell Her Its ME” did they change it??? I knew it was based on the book THE BOYFRIEND SCHOOL.

Yes, DeNita, it’s one & the same—they did change the title for DVD, tho I’m not sure why.
And I’m desperately looking for copies that don’t cost an arm & a leg (they’re currently running about $50 at Amazon :whhhat ) so if you ever see any, lmk. I do that all the time…usually with books….I go looking for a specific one…and dang it all…3 or 4 end up in my cart…and not one of them the one I was looking for!! :happyjoy
