Happy Sunday
Happy Sunday! And Happy Daylight Saving Time. I think. Isn’t this the one where we “spring” ahead & lose an hour? Yeah, that would be a big, fat yuck :dislike & something I’ll save for tomorrow’s “Moan & Groan Monday” on the HappyBookers loop. :luvsmenot
But for today, since we’re supposed to be focusing on the positive, I AM HAPPY that I’ve gotten almost the entire pile of “Free Book Friday”, HappyBookers “Monthly Mystery Prize”, & other assorted giveaway items packed up & ready to mail. There are still a few strays lingering here & there, but I am making progress, & those of you who have been waiting ever so patiently—or maybe not so patiently :luvsmenot —for your goodies to arrive will be receiving them soon!
I AM HAPPY that I’m making great progress with PROJECT: RUNAWAY BRIDE. Still writing by hand without transcribing, so I have no clue how far along I actually am…& I have this eerie feeling I’m not nearly as far along as I need to be. But I’m still loving the story & it’s going well, so…I’m just going to be happy about that, okay? :moonyou
And I AM HAPPY that on one of my rare treks outdoors, I found a great selection of IZZE soda on sale. I love this stuff, & it’s not easy to find, so I stocked up. (Of course. :lol )

I am happy that we got to babysit our 1 month old grandson last night while my daughter and her boyfriend got some much needed sleep. lol
I am happy that I didn’t go completely psycho on my neighbors when they started banging like cave men on my kitchen walls and I had to go next door and ask them to stop…where the mother told me that kids will be kids and then shut the door in my face. But the noise stopped…

kids will be kids, but there are parents who need to be parents and teach their kids respect and respecting others around them.

I am happy that I do not have to worry about Daylight savings… time stays the same for me! The only thing that changes are the times for my cable shows!

That would drive me crazy. We used to have to make the adjustment when most of the state didn’t observe DST). You can’t mess with a college student like that!!! It’s not fair!!!!! (especially when we schedule classes around certain shows and then midway through the semester it all gets screwed up!!!!)

First..what is IZZE? We must not get it around here. I’ve never seen it in the stores.
My happy thoughts are: My oldest is home and it’s been great because he’s been able to help with some things we are trying to get done around the house and with my working 2 jobs right now (only one more week of that!) He is also finally going to get his physical for the Coast Guard (on the day that he was suppose to leave…now that day is in May).
The weather today has been gorgeous here (near 70!) and I know you all don’t like it, but I love daylight savings time (my body has known this day was coming for a couple of weeks and last night I actually got some sleep–I know I’m weird but I really think it all has to do with my S.A.D.)

Happy Sunday.. I had a wonderful week..The bathroom is final painted and almost back together again.. The cupboard doors just have to be put back on the vanity… And today I went out for brunch with family and enjoyed good company. it was a lovely spring day. I enjoyed a long afternoon nap.. Going to relax with a good book tonight and some good music..
