To enter the giveaway for this book, simply leave a comment to today’s post that includes the code FBF—for “Free Book Friday,” of course—to let me know you’re interested in the drawing. (U.S. residents only for the prize, please, but everyone is welcome to chat.)
Winner will be announced on Sunday, December 25th.
Since that happens to be Christmas Day, we won’t be holding our regular “Happy Sunday” post, & I know everyone will also likely be busy with other, more important things. :pie So don’t worry about checking in right away, just pop by when you get the chance, then be sure to contact me as soon as possible after the holidays. :tree
Winner is responsible for contacting me with her mailing information—i.e. I will not be contacting you—so be sure to check back in or you might not even know you won! :reindeer
(If prize isn’t claimed within 14 days, another name may be drawn or item may be tossed back into the goody bag to be re-used for a future giveaway.)
Starting today, the days are going to get longer. Yay! Or perhaps nay…I don’t know quite how to feel about it. Especially since longer days do not necessarily equal warmer ones. :brr
I also know everybody’s busy with Christmas preparations & celebrations, so The Dungeon may be a little quiet for a while.
I’m going to leave you with a few jokes to tickle your holiday funnybone, but please remember that we will be holding our usual Free Book Friday (with a side of Funny) giveaway tomorrow with one last Christmas romance to keep you warm this winter! :candycane
And now, for a chuckle…
Where do snowmen go to dance?
A snowball.
:snowhi
Where do polar bears vote?
The North Poll
:snowhi
Why didn’t Frosty the Snowman get married?
He had cold feet.
:snowhi

Is it okay to still post a Happy Hunk Day hottie on the first day of Hanukkah? I’m gonna give it a shot. If you don’t think it’s the right thing to do, don’t scroll any lower.
Of course, then you’ll miss this…

While I was shopping around for yesterday’s Christmas Wish List items, I discovered a few things that had me chuckling, so I thought it would be fun to put together another list. And when you see what’s on it, you’ll totally get why I’m calling it the “You Wish” List. :pumpkin
How about some maxi pad bedroom slippers (I’ve got a lot of this sort of thing left over after my surgery…a new money-making hobby for me to take up, ya think?):

Or some soap for that stinky hunka man you’ve got wandering around the house…

Also for the man in your life (& judging by the “you wish” dimensions, you’re a very lucky woman :cheers ):

This is one version of Dumbo you may not want your children to see:

They also come in g- (or hokey geez!) strings:

Or maybe something to keep just the twig & two berries warm:

So how many of these are going on your Christmas list, hmm? :turk
