Okay, question…hmm… :peekaboo
Got it: Did it scare you at first (or maybe nothing scares you any more as an author) when you decided to write the scene where Jessica abandons her baby in a conference room? I imagine writing that scene and trying to keep readers from hating her would be challenging.

Definitely, Jessica. Anytime you do anything borderline questionable—i.e. something readers might be upset or offended by—it’s scary. I knew that might not sit well with some folks, so even tho it had to happen, I tried very hard to bolster Jessica’s character & create a situation in which she was doing something she hated, but in the most responsible way.
