a Friday funny / free book Friday
Going to try something a little different for a while, see how it goes. :silly:
In addition to our regular Friday Funnies, I’m going to start adding a Free Book giveaway each week. We’ll start with a few of my own titles, but it’s really going to be a free-for-all of whatever I feel like giving away. Could be something I pick up at a conference…or a book I just finished reading…or even some sort of novelty coffee table book that I think would be fun to share.
So after you’ve had a good laugh over this week’s Friday Funnies, scroll down to read more about Free Book Friday. :nerd:
Friday Funny
Free Book Friday
An ARC (advance reading copy) of THE BITE BEFORE CHRISTMAS (available September 28th).
To enter, simply leave a comment to today’s post that includes the code FBF—for “Free Book Friday,” of course—to let me know you’re interested in the drawing. 😉 (U.S. residents only to start, please.) Then check back often because the winner will be picked & announced…later. :turtle:
P.S. The ARC doesn’t look like this; it isn’t nearly as pretty, but it’s still quite entertaining. 😎

Love the lolcat type pictures. But I couldn’t place the first one :X
I’m definitely interested in your book and the FBF. One, I love your writing, and two, it’d be perfect, as I have to write a blog post about Christmas/ holiday romances for Borders True Romance soon

Hey, Lime, great to see you popping in. (I knew a Free Book offer would bring some lurkers out of the shadows. :fighterm: )
And the top Funny is Hugh Jackman from Van Helsing…but the sparkle line is in reference to the Twilight books/movies where the vampires sparkle. (Yeah, right. :-/ ) *My* vamps in BITE even make snarky references about hat. LOL

I love the LOL cat pictures those make my day.
Now if I could indulge in a fantasy of sorts…my perfect weekend would include lots of wine and perfectly cooked food made by a trusty chef, Roma actually winning a game on Sunday [Please guys, seriously I’m begging here…on my knees and everything… :soccer: ] the FBF of Bite, because Christmas ain’t the same without vamps, then a nice trusty massage and more 😉 from my crazy gladiator. *sigh*
Okay, I’m barely back from the fantasy but will return at any moment. Why? Because I truly do believe my FB friend Ashley was right when she said reality is for people who lack imagination.

Dee, I prefer the quote…from Lily Tomlin, I think???…about reality being for people who can’t afford medication. :X-P:
And if ever you were going to indulge in flights of fancy about half-naked hotties…or sweaty sports hotties…The Dungeon is the place for it.

Dee says:
Well, my favorite upon occasion is known for half naked and sweaty and to borrow from Spinal Tap….his on field enthusiasm is an 11.
This “attraction” has even made my muse…Roman.
