happy Sunday
“Write in your heart that every day is the best day of the year.”
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Happy Sunday, everyone! I hope you’re having a bright & sunny weekend!
This week, I am happy that Spring is here. Okay, so we may still get a couple cold snaps, but I’m keeping a positive thought, here, & have decided that from now on, the weather is going to be warm & lovely. I was even able to open up all the doors & windows yesterday to let in the glorious Spring breeze…& give the cats a much-needed thrill. Oh, how excited they were to hear the birds chirp & smell all those outdoor smells. :kitty
I am happy that my taxes are well & truly & officially done, as well as being well & truly & officially filed. Whew. :faint I hate those things more than mold on cheese, but it always feels so good to have them taken care of & out of the way for another year. (Even if that year always seems to go by really, really fast. :sadheart )
I am happy that I finally got the thumbs-up, start-your-engines nod of approval on my synopsis for my “Dynasties: The Kincaids” story. It always feels great—as well as being a huge relief—to know I’m on the right track & that my editor is happy with my vision for a new project.
Now to jump in & start writing, which brings me to my next Sunday happy…
I am happy that I’ve started writing my “Dynasties: The Kincaids” book. I can’t say it was the smoothest launch in recorded history…I actually got about 7 pages in, then realized it would be better & had to go back & rework the scene…but I think I’m on the right track & am hoping the road will be a little less bumpy from here on out.
I am happy that fellow Harlequin Desire author, Tessa Radley, & I seem to be so much on the same page when it comes to characterization for our related stories. We have been chatting back & forth about our heroines’ personalities, clothing styles, & wedding preferences, & it’s going swimmingly! :eeee
And that about does it for me this week. How about you? Please share all your little happinesses & successes from the past week with us so we can celebrate together.
