Happy Hunk Day
doggy day care
This is Rocky.
He is one of Madame Mommy Dearest‘s regular pet-sitting clients & is just about the sweetest guy you’ll ever meet. (You know, Silas & The Kittehs & your own furbabies notwithstanding. :howyoudoin: ) There have been a couple of times, though, when MMD was busy the days Rocky’s humans needed her to watch him, & they asked if I might be able to do it, but since I do have The Kittehs to take care of, I prefer to do that sort of thing from home, & Rocky was presumably not very cat-friendly. :grrr:
So that wasn’t going to work out very well, was it? :wall:
BUT… MMD actually brought him to visit one day last week when she was watching him, & it turns out he’s actually pretty good with cats. I was very nervous about having him around & didn’t even want him near the doors or windows in case he barked or tried to go after one of The Kittehs. Instead, I had him all through the house because he couldn’t have cared less! I mean, The Kittehs saw him & were very trepidatious. But Rocky barely even acknowledged them. Whether one was down on the ground in front of him or up on the counter trying to stay away from him, he simply looked away & went on with his explorations. :dogwalk:
Sooooo…I’ve told MMD & Rocky’s humans that if another problem with scheduling arises down the road, I would be willing to give watching him a shot. Judging by how good he was during his first visit, I’m thinking he won’t be much trouble at all. But if he were to begin barking at or chasing The Kittehs once he’s settled in & more comfortable, then it could be an issue. But we won’t know until we try, right? :picnic:
And I may get the chance to find out as early as next month, when Rocky needs a doggy-sitter for two or three days.
