After a failed attempt at “the big time,” and an even more painful failed relationship, Lizzie Foster has returned to her childhood home for a fresh start.  Opening The Sweet Spot, a friendly downtown bakery, she’s working hard to make it a success.  But with all of the big-name competition surrounding her tiny, one-woman operation, she needs an edge.  Opening a Twitter account under the bakery’s name seems like the perfect solution, and when she begins posting daily specials and updates via the online community, business really picks up.

Jack Madison owns Bean There, Dunked That, a café down the street from The Sweet Spot.  When he hears the buzz about Lizzie’s competing bakery/coffee shop, he decides to follow her on Twitter to see what all the fuss is about.  Then, in response to one of her promotional Tweets, he stops in and discovers that The Sweet Spot’s sexy, funny owner is more than half of the bakery’s draw.

But she’s still the competition, and as the saying goes, keep your friends close and your enemies closer—and he intends to keep Lizzie very close, indeed.
