Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday, my Darlings! Are you hanging in there this winter? The cold one with…well, not snow of blizzard proportions, but enough, that’s for sure. :cold:

I hope you’ve been staying warm & have lots to share with us in the Gratitude Department! :cupid:

This week, I AM HAPPY that I’ve read some really good books recently. I may have mentioned Let Sleeping Rogues Lie by Sabrina Jeffries…very good; I’m still thinking about it, which usually indicates that it should be added to my Keeper collection. Then I read Jill Sorenson’s Dangerous to Touch—loved it! So much, in fact, that I immediately invited her to guest blog here in The Dungeon. She agreed, so keep an eye out for an upcoming visit! And another Sabrina Jeffries title (though it was originally written under the name Deborah Martin), By Love Unveiled. Another really, really good one. I highly recommend all three. :heartburn:

On top of that, I AM HAPPY that I finished up all this great reading just in time for this year’s packet of RITA books to arrive. Those of you who are familiar with RWA’s RITA & Golden Heart awards will know about this…or at least have a general understanding. Otherwise, suffice to say that each year I get a packet of books (which I’m not allowed to talk about publicly until after the Awards Ceremony) from RWA that I need to read in about two months’ time before judges’ scores are due. It’s kind of intense, given that I’m not that fast a reader, but every year I try not to be in the middle of some other book when the RITA entries arrive. Some years I time it better than others, but this year I pretty much nailed it! :skater:

I AM HAPPY, too, that I finally, finally got my butt back on the Torture Cycle. Please don’t judge me, but between The Move & my knee hurting so much, it’s been months since I’ve biked. Not only do I feel guilty about that, but not exercising has me feeling a little blah physically, too. (Oh, yes, I can always tell when I haven’t been active enough or eating right, can’t you? )

But I finally put my head down & just jumped back on, ouchie knee & all. Thankfully, my knee has been feeling better, so I just got a few twinges when I first started pedaling…& the longer I biked, the better my knee felt. Even when I got off, the knee felt better, so I can only think it’s good for me! I only did about 30 minutes the first time, but I’m slowly working myself back up to my old time—a full hour or more. :sled:

I’m able to catch up on some movies from the DVR that way again, too. I started with my Darling Jason’s Homefront.  I just love watching that man kick ass, don’t you? :loverboy:

And on that happy note—which is giving me a bit of the vapors :loveya: —I’ll turn the panel over to you…

What are you HAPPY about this week, grateful & thankful for? We want to hear about it, so put your Positive Patty button on & let ‘er rip! :snowangel:
