FREE BOOK FRIDAY

This week’s Free Book Friday offering is The Ex-Girlfriends’ Club, a Harlequin Blaze by Rhonda Nelson.

To enter the giveaway for this book, simply leave a comment to today’s post that includes the code FBF—for “Free Book Friday,” of course—to let me know you’re interested in the drawing. (U.S. residents only for the prize, please, but everyone is welcome to chat.)

Winner will be announced during our Happy Sunday post on…well, you know, Sunday.  Winner is responsible for contacting me with her mailing information—i.e. I will not be contacting you—so be sure to check back in or you might not even know you won! :whhhat (If prize isn’t claimed within 7 days, another name may be drawn or item may be tossed back into the goody bag to be re-used for a future giveaway.)

ooooooooOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!!!! This is a good book. The winner will enjoy it!!

    Great funnies too!

Now for my public service announcement….

Nickelodeon is having their voting for the Kid’s Choice Awards. Heidi’s boyfriend is up for Favorite Actor. Please go to Nickelodeon.com and the voting page. You will have to go through other categories and vote as well (B’girl recommends Big Time Rush and Lady Antebellum).

B’girl has cast her vote for Dwayne. :Bigthumbs

    • Heidi says:

Sometimes even *I* don’t know what my Darling Dwayne is up to :cry but I will get my heiny over there pronto to show him my support. (And if he wants to come over later, I’ll show him my support again in all kinds of wicked ways. :Pretty )

Wait…did I say that out loud? :crazy

Sometimes #2… Sometimes it’s good that Darling Laura J. gets here super-early & steals the Lucky Shamrock…because she also imparts info we all need to get thru the day. :biggrin

      • Laura J. says:

All the thanks go to my Lady A! They were the one to give me the heads up about the voting.

(my reporting it was out of fear of the wrath of Mistress Heidi if she wasn’t informed :crazy )

        • Heidi says:

I just hated having to vote in all the other categories, too, because some of the choices were :crazy But I did it to get to my Darling Dwayne & give him props for all his natural uber-hawtness. :hothot

A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do, right? :dracuulla

Free books and St. Patty’s day! I’m not Irish, but every year I take the day off work to support my Irish brethren by getting drunk starting at 11 in the morning. It’s the least I can do for them. And hey, my daughter’s something like 1/15th Irish.

  3. Denise Vega says:

the book sounds great & i’ve always enjoyed St.Patty’s day use to march in the parade when I was young even though I’m not Irish I grew up in South Boston ,MA. which at the time was 85 % Irish people just assumed I was because of my coloring & green eyes LOL

  4. Jennifer Probst says:

Yay, free book Friday and a good one! so happy I found your blog by my entry into the tweeting world!!

  5. Donna says:

Too funny. I too am not Irish but as a former bartender I consider it right up there with New Year Eve.
Please put me in for FBF.

  6. Emily F says:

    FBF!

An Irishman is never drunk as long as he can hold onto one blade of grass to keep from falling off the earth.

    :party

    • Heidi says:

:beerlaugh That’s right, Emily. That’s exactly what we used to say back in college, too. (Altho I rarely drank. No, I’m serious…I was not—& am not—a drinker. Just a wee dram now & then, but nothing I’d need an intervention for. :coffee LOL)

  7. CrystalGB says:

    Love Blaze books. FBF.

I don’t really like beer, but I’m looking forward to corned beef and cabbage. It smells so good I can’t wait until it’s done and start pulling off bits.

The trick is to use a crock pot. My lid seems to be so tight that the smell doesn’t get out like it did on the stove top or in the oven.

Since it’s on sale now, I usually buy 3 and toss the other 2 in the freezer for when it’s hard to find/expensive.

    • Heidi says:

LOL As much as I love *almost* all things Irish, I’m sorry to say I’d rather have the green beer. :crazy

  9. Hollie says:
