that heroine chick
Last week, we talked about evening gowns for my current Harlequin Desire heroine to wear to a high-priced charity event. This week, we need to decide who my for her should actually be. Especially when I press for perfect cover art later. :winkwink
So here’s some background…
Her name is Jessica Taylor of the “Taylor Fine Jewels” Taylors.
She’s got curly, shoulder-length (give or take) blond hair, sometimes with a streak of wild blue down one side—’cause she’s a rebel. :whip
She’s got multiple piercings—several in her ears & one in her brow—plus a tattoo that’s only visible when she’s naked. :cuffs
She’s sexy, of course, & very independent, working a blue collar job, even though she was raised with money. And you’ve seen the gorgeous sapphire blue evening gown she’ll be wearing at some point in the story, so you can picture her in that, if you want.
Here are some of the gals I’ve been considering, but I’m open to suggestions, too!
Jenna Elfman — She’s always been a favorite of mine. I like how cute & quirky she is. And in these pics, at least, I love her hair.
Kate Winslet (-ish; I don’t think this is actually Kate, but I like her look, so I’m going with it :moon ) — Longer hair than I’d been envisioning, but it could work.
Jennifer Morrison — Ditto. Plus, I kind of like her more now that she’s on Once Upon a Time than I did when she was on House, M.D.
Elizabeth Banks — I’m not a big fan, but the hair certainly works.
Charlize Theron — I do like her, but am on the fence about how well she suits my heroine.
So what do you think? I’ll tell you who I’m leaning toward later, but for now, I’d like your opinions & even added recommendations in case you think of somebody I’ve missed. :oops
