Good news!

I just heard from Editor C at Harlequin Desire that both my miniseries & book title suggestions have been approved for the series I’m doing with them starting in 2013.

That means Book 1 really will be called PROJECT: RUNAWAY HEIRESS & it really will fall under the “Project: Passion” series umbrella.

Woot! :cheer

I’m so happy about this, because I worked really hard to come up with a series name & book titles that played heavily on the Project Runway/fashion world feel.  You should have heard my argument when I pushed for them:  “But it’s Project Runway…Project: Runaway.  Get it? They’re the same, except for an extra A.”  Oh, yeah, I was brilliantly persuasive. :bubble   But it must have worked, because The Powers That Be jumped on board! :chickendance

It’s also looking like PROJECT: RUNAWAY HEIRESS will be an April 2013 release, if I can just get the darn thing wrapped up.  I have more story to tell than pages to fill at this point, but these characters just won’t stop.  They’re having the longest, sweatiest love scene ever—or so it feels to this dear author. :bed

I know you may enjoy that, but for me, it’s exhausting. :yawn   And it sure isn’t getting me any closer to The End. :slamdesk

But let’s focus on the fun part—I’ve got an approved title, series name, & release date!  To me, that is AWESOMESAUCE! :eeee

So mark your calendars & watch for the first book of the “Project: Passion” series in April!

So I updated The Dungeon sidebar over the weekend, & while I am highly amused by what I came up with this time around, I do realize the text in a couple of the graphics is hard to read.

As Brenda Leigh Johnson might say, “Why are the words so tiny? Who are they texting to—mice?” :lolol

(As a completely unrelated aside…  Oh, I’m so sad that The Closer is coming to an end this week. :patrick2   I absolutely love that show!  And while I’ll happily give the Major Crimes spin-off a shot, I am going to miss our tough Southern belle like crazy.  How about the rest of you?)
