Thank You! – part 2

Thank You #2 in the Blog of Shame Tour—& possibly the biggest mea culpa of all —goes out to sometimes Darling of The Dungeon Jessica Lemmon, who sent me a signed copy of her latest release quite some time ago, & I’m sure has been wondering if A.) it got lost in the mail or B.) I fell down a well.

I am so, so, so late in voicing my appreciation for this & so, so, so sorry for my tardiness.

To make my lateness in saying thank you even more horrifying, Jessica even mentioned me in the Acknowledgements.  Isn’t that sweet?! :img32

But while this might have been appropriate at the time, I fear I am no longer worthy of such kindness or flattery.

Sigh.  I’m so sorry, Jessica!  Please forgive me for taking so long expressing my thanks for your incredible kindness!

And though I am late, please believe me when I say THANK YOU & that it is VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! :img15

:img2 You got me! I was wondering if it got there okay. I’m thrilled you received it! I meant every word. :img16 There is no expiration date on a thank you. If anything, I was late in doling it out. So we can both be tardy and worthy. ‘K? :img25

So you *don’t* hate me with the white-hot heat of a thousand suns? :img29

      Whew! :img17

YOU didn’t have to say thank you at all, but I *hate* being late with mine. MMD did *not* raise me that way. :img36

But THANK YOU again, & double MERCI BEAU COUPs for being so understanding of my tardiness.

FYI, are you familiar with the short-lived tv show Greg the Bunny? If so you might get this…it’s Tardy the Turtle: http://i.imgur.com/KXQ95Ce.png

A heartfelt thanks is never too late…the recipient is always delighted to hear from her/his person…besides….these graphics really convey the joy!

    • Heidi says:

I hope you’re right, Kathleen! Time certainly hasn’t diminished my appreciation, that’s for sure! :img13

And you’ve guessed my motto: Say it with graphics! :img24 And if that fails, say it with emoticons! :img26

How can anyone be mad at you, Heidi?
