Happy Sunday
Happy Sunday, my Darlings! So how’s it hangin’ this week? All good, I hope!
So this week, I AM HAPPY that all of the wonderful, beautiful birds are back at the feeders! We had birds all winter, of course, because I keep the feeders filled year-round, but just the cold weather ones. Now we’ve got goldfinches, woodpeckers, sparrows, titmouses (titmice?
)…all the usual suspects. And The Kittehs are head-over-heels for them. Not to mention the adorable red squirrels that are also coming around.
I AM HAPPY that we had another free preview weekend, this time of HBO & Cinemax. So I was able to DVR Tammy, X-Men: Days of Future Past, & The Purge: Anarchy to watch on the Torture Cycle one of these days. I’m annoyed that I just missed catching Non-Stop :img31 but am really looking forward to Tammy. I hope it’s as good as I want it to be! :img26 I may even ask Madame Mommy Dearest if she wants to watch it with me for Mother’s Day or something. :img24
I AM HAPPY that we’ve got fun new emoticons to play with…in case you hadn’t noticed. :img19 These will probably hang around through the rest of the summer, so enjoy! :img17
And finally, I AM HAPPY that I caught some great sales & was able to add Season 5 of Flashpoint, Seasons 3 & 4 of The Walking Dead, & NBC’s canceled-too-soon Dracula to my collection. (I still miss it & am still annoyed it was cancelled, dammit! :img20 )
It all just makes me as happy as a bird with a french fry, this week! :img13
So how about you? What’s been going on with you this week that you’re happy about or thankful for? We’d love to hear about it & share in your show of gratitude! :img15

Love the emoticons. Last night was my sister’s wedding and it was a lot of fun. Some mishaps but all went well and was beautiful.

I am happy that the trial that hubby and I had to testify in last week is over! We were wittnesses to a neighbor hitting his girlfriend and had to testify against him. It was stressful because his father came to my door one night wearing part of his school police uniform so we thought he was a metro police officer and he tried to intimidate us into not testifying against his son. It ended up being a big deal what he did but it’s all over with now. And for that I am very happy.

I am glad that weight has been lifted off your shoulders. I hope the father got the book thrown at him for witness tampering.
(And I totally agree with Heidi on how unreported incidents lead to more serious repercussions.)
