Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday!

How’s the world treating you this week?  Really, really well, I hope! :may7

I AM HAPPY that I once again got the yard mowed.  Normally, I would not be mowing once a week, but with all the rain we’ve been getting, the grass is out of control, so I didn’t have much choice.  At least it went easily & fairly quickly, & now it’s done…for another little while, I suppose. :may12

I AM HAPPY that Precious’s tail seems to be better.  I don’t know what happened, but all of a sudden I noticed this spot on her tail that looked like kind of a sore, rash-y spot.  I was willing to take her to the veterinarian, of course, but rather than put her through that stress right away, I decided to put a bit of this great SilverBiotics gel I’ve got that totally healed up Simon’s tail when he had a boo-boo.  And I think it worked!  I’m still keeping an eye on it, but it definitely doesn’t look as yucky as before.

and I AM HAPPY that I finally managed to get the living room couch back together.  I took the cover off a while back to wash, then never quite got it put back on & ended up piling junk on the sofa for “storage.”  (Hey, I never claimed to be a great housekeeper! :May37 )  So finally this week, I made a point of moving the stuff off, putting the cover back on, & even making it up with fuzzy nap pads for The Kittehs.  They don’t love it as much as I expected, but it’s also not winter any longer; in the winter, I’m betting they’ll fight over who gets to snuggle there first.  Right now, they’re too keen on sleeping in front of the windows in case a bird flies by! :may35

So that’s what I’m thankful for & happy about this week. :may1

How about you?  What has you doing the Baby Dance this week? :may22

:may19 Happy it’s Sunday. Love the new side bar. Happy my home is coming together. It’s been 6 long months since the accident that forced me to find alternate housing for 4 months and we almost have the place repainted. A couple more weeks and I can start emptying boxes and getting things straightened out.

Thanks, Ruth! I’m glad you noticed (& like) the new sidebar. :may35

And congrats! Even though it sounds like you’ve been thru the wringer & having to do *a lot* of work, I’ll bet it makes you feel good to have things coming together. :may14

Yes! Monday being a holiday is going to throw me off for sure. I get confused about the PO being closed, no paper, making phone calls & wondering why offices are closed… :may39

But I’m still happy about it. Enjoy! :may1

In Estonia we have a little tiridtaon that if you, accidentally or not, say happy new year to someone after Jan 7, you owe them a bottle of vodka:p No i’m serious.
