Yes. I feel that way too

  2. LeeAnn Pratt says:

Yup..when we moved out of the house we were renting into this one, that we bought in 89 , I asked that question and “Where the hell am I going to fit it all?”

  3. Heidi says:

And yet it’s SO HARD to get rid of it. I swear I’ve gotten rid of only about 1% of everything I’ve packed & moved so far. Because I need all the things! Want to keep all the things! img10

  4. Brooke C says:

Yeah, I feel the same way. So much of my stuff is in boxes right now and I don’t have room to unpack it/can’t be bothered because I’m planning on moving again in about a year. I sure wish I could be minimalist but I love my things too much!

    • Heidi says:

I love my things, too. I wouldn’t say I’m materialistic; it’s not about having fancy, expensive things, & I’d give up everything I own for family or The Kittehs. But I seem to be sentimental about a lot of things & have this “but if I get rid of it, I can never replace it” mentality. img31

Go ahead, call me a hoarder—you wouldn’t be the first person to say it. img10

Heidi, don’t think you need to get rid of things. I wish I had taken more time to think about keeping stuff when I had a problem with smoke and soot in my house 2 years ago. I let myself be talked into getting rid of stuff that I should have keep just because it was dirty,it still could have been cleaned. I was only thinking about down sizing because I didn’t want to go through it all when I retire in a few years.
