Aww, that’s too bad. Sometimes you can work thru them, but it’s not fun. People are always surprised to hear I’m allergic to animals. With mine, I’ve worked up a tolerance (tho sometimes it takes *a lot* of meds* & a long time of sneezing, coughing, itching, wheezing, & watery eyes), but if I’m around unfamiliar animals, I’m a mess. I have to be careful not to touch my face after I’ve pet them & load up on allergy meds asap. I can’t help myself, tho – I see a furbaby & I just zero in. I MUST snorgle, even if it kills me. :risingghost
There are some dog breeds (poodle, maltese, etc.) that are safer for some people with allergies. It might be worth talking to an allergy doctor and a vet.
True, as long as they’re still rescued/adopted. :winkingpumpkin Of course, I never consider a whit of that sort of thing, I just dive in with my allergy-ridden self. :mummy

Love the absolute joy in the first picture. I hope to adopt a dog when DH retires. Till then it’s just the kitties.

I know! I can’t decide who’s having more fun, the boy or the mutt. LOL :blinky
And YAY on your plans to adopt. When the time is right, you’ll find the absolutely PERFECT dog to add to the mix. :spider

Those are so cute. Hubby has always wanted a dog but our daughter has a really bad allergy to both dogs and cats and we later found out, bunnies too.
