Happy FBF! Love the funnies, I do need to get hubby away from the TV (doubles as our computer screen) long enough to watch The Walking Dead. Congrats on the new book! I know it will be awesome.

    • Heidi says:

Tell him to watch on the computer screen! :thumbsup If he likes that sort of thing, he should at least give it a try. Tell him to catch a marathon some time when when replay them from the beginning.

And thanks for the nice words about I DO. Hope you enjoy it! :blowkiss

  2. Arlene Hittle says:

Love Desires and love your books. FBF.

I have not, however, been sucked into the phenomenon that is “The Walking Dead.”

    • Heidi says:

      TYSM, Arlene!

I really like The Walking Dead. I’m probably the only person who wishes there were more zombies/guts/gore & less drama, but I’m wacky that way. LOL

  3. Angie M says:

Just read a 4 & 1/2 star review in Romantic Times for your FBF giveaway. Looking forward to reading it! :rolf

    • Heidi says:

Thank you, Angie. Am really happy about the review…it’s the first I’ve seen, & I’m delighted the reviewer had such great things to say about Kara & Eli’s story. Now I hope readers all feel the same. :jumping

  4. Cheryl S. says:

FBF. Congrats on receiving your author copies. Nice cover – can’t wait to read it.

    • Heidi says:

Thanks, Cheryl. Can you believe I just today looked at the cover & realized the hero is holding a ring box? I don’t think I ever noticed that before. Duh. :oops

  5. Tammy Beck says:

Congrats on receiving your author copies! I can’t wait to read On The Verge Of I Do. FBF :drinkup

  6. Anne says:

    I love this quote:

    “You gonna untie us?”
“Please—don’t pretend you don’t enjoy it.”

Supernatural has some of the best one or two liners.

    FBF

    • Heidi says:

Thanks, Anne! Supernatural has some of the BEST quotes.

Today, I’ve been hooked on one from an ep I watched last night, when Sam loses that lucky rabbit’s foot & ends up with the worst luck ever.

“I lost my shoe.” That scene cracks me up. :rolf

  7. Pam Lowery says:

Happy FBF! I am loving this Kincaid Series! Can not wait til yours comes out! Have a great weekend!

  8. CrystalGB says:

  10. StacieD says:

I only just started watching The Walking Dead this season. So far I’m enjoying it. I love the zombie funnies.

The FBF selection sounds awesome! Good luck with your upcoming release!

    • Heidi says:

So are you a zombie/horror fan, too? I’m ga-ga for them. More blood! More gore! More walking dead people, please! :muahaha

  11. Cindy Holub says:

FBF really like this weeks pick! :jumping :heart :kitty

  12. Sherie says:

    FBF!
My hubby loves The Walking Dead. I watch TV in the other room. I cannot take all the zombie people, they just creep me out. I will give the make up people props though! Great Work! :blowkiss

    • Heidi says:

LOL Yeah, you’ve gotta like that sort of thing to enjoy the show. The makeup is definitely great…I mean, they don’t look like fake/made-up zombies at all. I *believe* they’re the walking dead. I *believe* they want to eat my brains. :sick

  13. Bonia says:

FBF! Although I’ve already bought a Kindle copy, I would love to have an autographed copy!

    • Heidi says:

Thanks for the pre-order, Bonia—I really appreciate it! :blowkiss And I hope you enjoy Kara & Eli’s story.

Actually, I have a question regarding the Kindle version… Do you have it already? I mean, were you able to buy & download it already, even tho the book isn’t supposed to be released until April 1st? Because the Kindle page makes it look as tho the book is already available, even tho the print page says it’s not yet released.

I don’t have an ereader, so I’m curious about these things. I also know readers who subscribe to the Desire line get their books way early…sometimes even before I get my copies…so maybe they treat the ebook the same way. :Huh

  14. Colleen C. says:

    :blowkiss FBF
Enjoyed the funnies! It is always nice to find goodies in the mail… Have a wonderful weekend all!

  15. Maria E. says:

Can’t wait to read ur new book!
    Happy Friday! FBF

  16. Mary Kirkland says:

    Happy FBF!!

Ya know it’s really wird I love all that paranormal, Sci-fi, Horror, Ghoulie type stuff on tv…love it..but I cannot get into The Walking Dead. Maybe it’s the whole Zombie thing that I can’t get into, I dunno. My daughter loves it and so I see bits and pieces of it when it’s on and I’ve tried to like it..but I’m just not into zombies I guess.

    • Heidi says:

Well, do you like zombies? I’m a zombie movie fanatic, so it definitely speaks to me. But if they’re not your thing, then they’re not. I actually love horror movies, but have never gotten into the Halloween or Friday the 13th movies. I’ve seen them, but only once. Not sure why, when I’ll watch others (Dawn of the Dead, House of Wax, My Bloody Valentine) a zillion times.

Glad to hear your daughter likes it, tho…she can recap the highlights for you. :winkwink

  17. Colette @ A Buckeye Girl Reads says:

Thank you for the laugh and Happy #FBF!!!! Congratulations on your upcoming release. I can’t wait to read it. 🙂

  18. DebraG says:

  21. carole says:

I love your funnies and I’m not at home at night to watch TV.But my daughter likes Walking Dead and talks about it, at times she even tapes it for me but I’d rather read so can’t wait to read your book….I’m always lookinf for one of yours and my many favorite authors. Have anice weekend! Gonna go shoppping for a prom dress with my daughter, sure hope its not so stressful but it should be fun!

  22. Beth Mast says:

I am go glad it’s Friday.
Thanks for the chuckles & eye candy!
    FBF!

  23. Laura J. says:

    Great Funnies!! FBF!

  24. Hollie says:

    Great funnies!! :jumping

  25. Julia David says:

I am not a fan of The Walking Dead. I love Sci-fi and paranormal, but I don’t care for those movies.

    FBF! Love the funnies though.

    • Heidi says:

Zombies definitely aren’t everyone’s cuppa. I love them, but I’m also a little picky. (There are a lot of horror/zombie movies out there, not all of them good. :sick ) And then there’s some sci-fi/paranormal I love & other stuff I hate. Even The Walking Dead bores me at times…like when they focus totally on the personal drama & don’t throw an actual zombie in until the very end. :angry

  26. Barbara N says:

:blowkiss So excited about this series and FBF. As for walking dead, a few weeks ago I was subjected to watching a recorded marathon as my husband lost the remote : :curses But as they say I am addicted now but not as much as reading.Heidi keep up the great stories and I will always be there to purchase them. :kitty

    • Heidi says:

:rolf I’ve definitely been there…you agree to watch something just to get somebody off your back & end up totally hooked. Then you have to turn around & tell them they were right, you should have been watching it all along. Sigh.

I’m glad you’re looking forward to I DO, too. No zombies, but there are more (& better!) love scenes, so it evens out! :winkwink

  27. Denise Scar says:

FBF I like it. Thanks for the contest

  28. Lindsay W says:

    FBF. Thanks for the contest.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

  29. Donna says:

On vacation so checking in late. Love the funnies. FBF. Hope everyone is safe from the storms.
