drink of the month
Ginger Champagne
Ingredients:
3 strips pickled ginger
1 cup ice cubes
1 ounce vodka
1/2 cup champagne
Directions:
Place the ginger strips into a shaker & press to release the flavor.
Add the ice cubes & vodka. Shake and strain into a champagne glass. Top with champagne.

Y’know, I’m sure there’s a non-alcoholic version, but I don’t know how to do that. Frankly, I think soaking a few strips of ginger in some 7-Up would probably taste yummy. But then, I love ginger! :thumbsup
And I’m pretty sure your book is in the mail. Let’s put it this way—I do not have anything with your name on it on my “To Do” pile, which pretty much means I’ve either already taken care of it or lost it into the abyss. :beerlaugh

LOL I was thinking pretty much the same thing, Leigh. Love ginger, love vodka…not a big fan of champagne, but with the other ingredients, I think I could handle it. :winkwink
