cheap date

Or maybe I’m not—maybe I’m a really expensive date.  I don’t know because I’ve never actually asked. :img10

But in case you missed the abridged version during our Darling Pam‘s visit to The Dungeon on May 7th (see:  Pamela Cayne in The Dungeon), I thought I’d share the full story with you…from the fingertips of Darling Pam herself.

So we’re taking another field trip.  This time to…

Who I Bought On My Summer Vacation

I love this story, especially since it brings back so many very fun memories. :img5

Hope you enjoy!  :img4

:img4 What a lovely remembrance–sounds like it was a breakfast to remember for you both, Heidi! Thanks to you and Pam for such a fun recollection!

It was so much fun! And I don’t mind telling you I was nervous about it. You never know how things will go on a “blind date” or what the other person will be like. But Pam was (& is!) a blast. I was delighted to be able to sit down with her like that, & am even happier that we’ve remained friends. :img5

I still have such fond memories of that morning! But yeah, the best part was how I gained a wonderful friend. (I actually saw Brenda Novak 2 years ago and told her the story, thanked her for being the one who was responsible for it all.) :img15

And a belated congrats to Pam on her debut! Great interview, Pam and Heidi! LOLed at many of your fab questions and answers!

I so wish we all lived close enough to do a Darlings of The Dungeon luncheon once in a while or something. I’m betting we’d close down…or maybe get kicked out of…a restaurant of two, huh? :img19
