this writer’s life
Top Secret Project #2 is turning into “The Book That Won’t End”! :may17
Don’t get me wrong—it’s a great story with a great hero & heroine. :may21 But I’ve been working on this last chapter for what seems like forever. (And FYI, I’ve been on the “last chapter” for three chapters now. :may33 )
I want to take both of my characters by the neck & scream, “Just say I love you already & let’s be done with this!” :may8
But you know how I am…I really want the end to be perfect & romantic & sigh-worthy, so I’m struggling with every…single…word. :may20
I only hope that you guys end up thinking the extra time I’m taking with this one was worth it. :may34 And if it’s any consolation, I got goosebumps last night over what the hero was saying to the heroine, so I think it will be. :may15

I’ve been reading your books since the very first one and I have no doubt that this one will be as good if not better than all those that have come before. You are one of the writers whose books I automatically buy without reading the back or looking at reviews. I always know it is worth reading. Hang in there and just know, none of us will give up, we’ll be waiting when you’re through and we will read it, most likely, the day it is released.

Okay, I’m just going to throw this offer out there to ya…
Why don’t you let me skim through it for you. See what’s going on and then I’ll let you know if there are parts you can leave out. You know…maybe you just need another set of eyes to help. :mat27
