Happy Sunday
Happy Sunday! How are you doing this week?
It’s been a busy one for me, but it definitely had some fun spots.
This week, I AM HAPPY that I finally finished the love scene I’ve been working on for what feels like a reeeeeallly long time. (You can read the deets in last Thursday’s blog post—This Writer’s Life—if you like.) All that hard work was worth it, though…the love scene rocks. :spring11
I AM HAPPY that there are some very sweet people out there in the world. Yeah, I have a tendency to bead in on the a**holes (maybe because there seem to be more of them out there—am I right? :spring13 ), but once in a while I run into a few really great folks! This week there were two young ladies who made me chuckle & still make me smile when I think back on our interactions. :spring14
And finally, I AM HAPPY that I got my hands on a Daryl Dixon/The Walking Dead poster this week. I know I’m not 16-years-old & there’s a bit of a story behind it, but let’s just say that I was overcome by a fit of the vapors when I saw it & I just had to have it.
I think I’ll hang him in my office. Or behind my bed. Or maybe over my bed so I can stare up at him each night before I fall asleep.
I dream of Daryl. :spring21

I have a bad feeling that if you hang that poster in your office, you’ll never get any writing done. Will be way too busy drooling and daydreaming, ma’am!! :spring27
I know I usually post a million things I am happy for, but this week will keep myself to two very selfish things.
First, I’m happy I’ve lost 10 lbs and gone down a full size. Was able to put on a pair of capris that I haven’t worn in over a year. :spring21
And secondly and MOST importantly, I am beyond happy that I will be leaving for a weekend in NYC on Friday to see my hubby for the first time since October 3rd!! I cannot wait!! :spring23
Have a great weekend y’all!! :spring14

I can totally see you hanging that poster over your bed. lol If I had a huge life size poster of Ian Somerhalder, I might hang it over my bed…not too sure how hubby would like that thought.

I am happy that I found a few fleece cubes on sale for the rats cages and that they seem to like them so far.
