I had a colonoscopy done yesterday and part of the after care instructions my husband received was not to allow me on social media and to not allow me to text or email anyone. :mummy I wasn’t going to say anything that bad… :coffin
Okay, you win – that’s way worse than getting a new filling. :scaredcat
But those instructions are a hoot! Why would they say that? Because they think you’re too doped up to make sense online? Because they don’t want you sitting at a computer? Or because they don’t want you badmouthing them in public? :scarystories
All of the above. I think maybe they’ve had folks post inappropriate things or say things they ought not while under the influence. They use some powerful anesthesia. But I really want to know what was posted it boggles the mind.
Thanks, Mary. Actually, this time it was almost painless. A little while they were working & a bit of a headache after, but absolutely nothing since. Last time must have been a total fluke! :stayback
But I’m pretty sure I thought all of the things in the above funnies last time around. :scaryeyes
I had a tooth pulled the other day and my gum and inside of my cheek are black and blue and it hurts like a son of a gun. They said there was no infection, it was that the tooth broke and the nerve was exposed. But the last couple days I have been sweating like it was 110 degrees so I think their was infection and they missed it. My gum is all swollen too.
I have a very high pain tolerance, I don’t get novacaine for fillings, so for this to hurt it’s got to be pretty bad.
Hope everyone feels better from all their aches really soon. Maybe the eclipse will make them all go away.
Oh, yikes! :stayback That sounds pretty bad. Did you call & tell them about it? I’d be popping Motrin or antibiotics, if I had any. Maybe they can call something in for you.
Have you tried an ice pack against your jaw, just to try to keep the swelling down & maybe fight the heat of the fever/infection?

That is too funny…those are the times we want to get online because then we have an excuse for what we do and say. LOL
