   Yeah, that’s the reason why I usually don’t pick blueberries on my own, either. :feedme: And if I do, I make a lot of noise. Though usually bears tend to avoid people and you have to be either really lucky or really unlucky to see one.
   And now I want some blueberry pie (the Finnish version). I guess I have to make some once I get back home. :chocoyum:

   Finnish blueberry pie? Sounds interesting. I have a friend who is starting up a pick-your-own place out in Wisconsin, so am starting to enjoy them more each year.

     Rowan, this recipe I found looks pretty much like the one I use (I’m not at home, so I can’t check out my recipe books), except that I never mash the berries and of course this time of year, fresh blueberries are not an option and I usually add some flour to the berries so that the pie wouldn’t be soggy:
