It seems that two of Mistress Heidi‘s minions chewed through their restraints this weekend & went on a road trip. :sled

I guess it isn’t all bad—they did snap this picture.  Darling Laura & Darling Hollie wearing their Mistress Heidi horns & holding up a copy of MUST LOVE VAMPIRES.

The Gingerbread Man

Ingredients:

4 ounce vodka
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 inch fresh ginger
2 cinnamon sticks
3 whole cloves
gingerbread cookies

Instructions:

In a saucepan, heat water, sugar, ginger, cinnamon sticks, & cloves until reduced to approximately 3/4 cup.  (About 15 minutes.)
Pour liquid through a sieve & chill until all sediment has gone to the bottom.  (About 20 minutes.)
When syrup is ready, combine vodka with 1 ounce syrup in a cocktail shaker.
Shake & strain into a martini glass rimmed with crushed gingerbread cookie crumbles.
