Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday!

Are you having a great week?  I hope so!

This week, I AM HAPPY with my new Macbook Air.  I know I’ve mentioned that before, but after using it for a couple of weeks, I’m really just how very much I love it.  The battery life is way longer than I was used to with the old Acer laptop, everything is pretty much exactly as I’m used to from my desktop Mac, & I can do stuff on it (like check e-mail) that I couldn’t on the old laptop because the programs weren’t the same.  There’s still some stuff to do & some bugs to work out before it’s absolutely perfect—or as perfect as any computer of mine can be :may24 —but so far, so awesome. :may35

The First Prophet (Bishop Files Series #1)I AM HAPPY that My Darlings helped me decide which book to start reading next.  I went with The First Prophet by Kay Hooper & it’s already good, moving very quickly.  (I love a fast-paced read. :may34 )

The Downfall of a Good Girl (Harlequin Kiss Series #2)For the record, The Downfall of a Good Girl by Kimberly Lang is also very good, even if I’m reading it a little more slowly. :may20

And though it’s a small thing, I AM HAPPY that I’ve just started using a Dr. Pepper-flavored Lip Smacker lip balm.  Gadzooks, is it tasty.  Now I just have to fight the urge to put it on, lick it off, put it on, lick it off… :may5

That’s about all the happy I can handle this week. :may3

How about you—what great stuff do you have to report this week?  Good news, gratitude…we want to hear it all! :may14

Glad to hear the good news about the laptop. I have an Acer laptop right now and am pretty happy with it.

I am happy that hubby went to the store and brought home some foods that we’ve never tried before just to mix things up a bit. He picked up a couple of Chayote squash, some pickled herring and apple cinnamon cheerios cereal for me to try.

Dr. Pepper lip balm?!?!? I’m with you, I’d probably put it on, lick it off, put it on…It would be worse if it was Dr. Pepper Cherry. I’d probably just eat it without it ever making in ON my lips.

It’s been a few hectic weeks due to my job. It’s not looking to slow down like I was hoping it would, but boy do I like those bigger paychecks!!!!

B’girl is right now getting some prep for her interview portion of next week’s big pageant. This after touring a local historic home and taking a bunch of pictures for another pageant she’s doing. We are also putting the finishing touches on her newest cosplay costume that she’s going to unveil in about 2 weeks. She’s becoming more interested in costuming every day and may have the opportunity to learn to dance period dances to be an interpreter at the place we visited today.

My oldest son and future dil adopted a puppy a few weeks ago, a week later it came down with parvo but that little girl is a fighter and she beat parvo and if my son follows through on it-she has a shirt to prove it.

T-man (my middle boy) and B’girl started school this week. Can’t believe T-man is a senior. I’m pretty sure I’m not old enough to have a senior in high school (or college for that matter).

    Have a good week everyone!!!
