Thank You! – part 1

I am extremely behind & hang my head in shame at how tardy I am with some giant thank-yous that need to go out.

So this will be the first of three posts where I not only say THANK YOU!!!, but express my apologies for getting to it much later than I should have.

Thank You #1 goes out to Darling Hollie, who made these two wonderful dish towels for me to give Madame Mommy Dearest for her birthday!

Aren’t they nice?  The buttons are my favorite thing about them, I think. :img27  But MMD likes that the yellow & orange match her kitchen.

Though I may have mentioned it, I don’t think Darling Hollie knows how timely & appreciated these towels really are.  MMD only had one with the hook to hand on the stove & it was looking really shabby. :img36  Now she’s got new ones that look so much better!  (At least for a while. :img18 )

And see that little red thing at the top of the pic?  That’s a bracelet Darling Hollie made for moi!  It’s really cute on, & I even got to take it for a test drive the day after it arrived because the top I’d already planned to wear happened to be red.  I looked so nice. :img9

So THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Darling Hollie!  Madame Mommy Dearest & I are extremely grateful! :img24

    Awesome job Hollie!

I have not forgotten about the address. I will do that tonight!

Doesn’t she do great work? And these are, like, a piece of cake for her, because she can do such amazingly complicated stuff, it’s crazy! :img19

But that doesn’t mean I appreciate them any less. Especially since MMD *needed* these rather desperately. :img2

*no hurry on the address, just don’t forget so you *can* get your prize!

    My pleasure!!
I love doing things like that! So any time you need more just give me a shout out. Xoxo

Double, triple, quadruple THANK YOU!!! MMD will definitely be happy to hear that…& now *I* know what I can get her for birthdays & holidays if I can’t think of anything else. :img26

:img26 Those are really cool Hollie. My elderly neighbor made these too. I miss her.

It’s such a talent to be able to do stuff like this! And I think it’s a dying talent. (Dying art?) Like so many other things that seem to be falling by the wayside, knowing how to make homemade crafty items like these is becoming more & more rare. :img33
