RIP Wayne & Wes
In case you hadn’t heard, it’s been kind of a bad week of losing exceptionally influential people.
Dr. Wayne Dyer passed away August 29th, quite unexpectedly in his sleep.
I don’t know about you, but I loved this guy. He was so brilliant & inspirational. I have several of his books…have even read a few :bashful: & am eager to read more. And I love to watch his presentations/speeches. PBS plays them once in a while & I always try to tune in. I’ve learned a lot from him, & am sad I won’t get the chance to learn more from his future endeavors.
Wes Craven, director & master of the horror genre, passed away August 30th after a battle with brain cancer.
In case you didn’t know, I adore horror movies. The Last House on the Left … The Hills Have Eyes … A Nightmare on Elm Street … Scream … Swamp Thing … The Breed … Red Eye … These are a few of my favorite things, & I have him to thank for them.
They say death comes in threes, which has me a little worried. I hope no one else wonderful & whom I admired passes away this month. :squirrel:

Well, I don’t know about you, but I was sad when I heard the cartoonist Randy Glasbergen had passed away.
