question of the week

PhotobucketHere’s something we do on my HappyBookers YahooGroup loop…

…a “Question of the Week.

This week, the question was about reading habits.

When you’re nearing the end of a book, are you already thinking about what you’ll read next, or do you take a couple days to savor one story before starting another?

So how about you?

I start reading another book right away. I usually have 5 or 6 books already picked out, put into stacks in the order I want to read them and usually are in the same genre. One week it’ll be vampires, the next week werewolves. lol

I usually read a book a day if I can keep off the internet long enough to do so.

When I have finished a book. I like to savor for a bit, but I always start a new book the same day. Maybe not right away, but I am never without something to read. As to the next book to choose from, which are overflowing on my tbr shelves, I look at the piles and close my eyes and point. That’s the book I will read next.. But if I have started a series of books, then I will most likely go for the next book in the series if it is on my shelf..

  3. Tammy Beck says:

I always have several books sitting and waiting on me. I usually start a new one right away. If the book I’m is really emotional I may take a little time in between but that doesn’t happen often. If it is a series I try to read them back to back unless the books are to similar or bores me.
