OMG!  OMG!  OMG!  I’m so excited, I could wet myself!!! :spring20

You’ll never believe it, but I just found out

I’ve only been dreaming about this moment for the past 10+ years.  Wish, hoping, praying…occasionally banging my  head against the wall in despair. :spring13

But finally—FINALLY!—my prayers have been answered.  Our prayers have been answered. :spring6   Browncoats Unite!

From what I hear, the entire cast will be involved, including those who were killed off (*sniff*) in Serenity.  So my guess is that they’ll pick up where the TV series left off, not where the movie left off. :spring16

But can you believe it?  It’s finally happening!  I feel like I’m going to explode, I’m so happy! :spring23

Oh, & one more thing:

It’s true; I made it up.  And you have no idea how horrible it makes me feel to admit that. :spring1

I hope I got a few of you with my cruel & unusual April Fool’s trick.  Now I’ll just go off to a dark corner somewhere & curl into the fetal position to sob until I die. :spring24

(I really do want Firefly to come back more than almost anything in the world. :spring2 )

    You got me.

    • Heidi says:

Yay! :spring20 Okay, I know it was cruel. If you don’t think *I’m* weeping over the fact that it isn’t true, you’re crazy. :spring24

But I so wanted to play an April Fools on you guys & I’m not very good at thinking of stuff. :spring22

  2. Anne says:

You had me going, very, very surprised, but going. The first thing I thought was the actor who played the doctor will have to start working out double time to get that body back after so many years. I’m all about the important stuff! :spring16

    • Heidi says:

I know, right. The trick to this April Fool is *not* giving you enough time to really think about it—or worse, Google it. :spring1

Glad I had you going for a couple seconds, tho. :spring16

  3. Nina Milne says:

That was so cruel! I was sooooo happy for all of two minutes though it was almost worth the pain of disillusionment. xx

    • Heidi says:

I know. I want it to be true so much, you can’t even imagine. As I often tell people, it’s been over a decade since Firefly was canceled & I have not even remotely A.) gotten over it or B.) given up on a reboot. Browncoats Forever! :spring18

      • Nina Milne says:

I’ll drink to that! In the desolate decade without Firefly have you found anything to replace it? Scratch that…have you found anything to remotely live up to it?

        • Heidi says:

Clearly, we are of one mind. Possibly separated at birth. :spring5

Nothing will ever replace Firefly, of course, but I have very much fallen in love with Leverage. The two aren’t even remotely similar, but I’ve got to have something to devote my life to, & Leverage is totally worthy. :spring11

  4. Minna says:

Can’t say I was ever a big fan of Firefly. I really prefer Castle. But I fould this on YouTube: “Firefly References on Castle”. And in case you don’t know this, Nathan Fillon played a superhero in Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. :spring23

    • Heidi says:

Oh, Minna, Firefly is only about 6 gazilion times better than Castle. I don’t even watch Castle anymore; it was fun for the first 5mins, then drove me bonkers. I think all the actors from Firefly should stop what they’re doing RIGHT NOW & get the show back off the ground. It was only the best show, like, EVER!!!!!! :spring24

Believe me, I’ve caught every single Firefly reference they’ve used in Castle. They only make me miss Firefly more. And I’ve got Dr. Horrible, too. I’ve pretty much kept tabs on what the entire crew has been up to since the show ended. LOL

As much as I wanted this to be true….I knew you were pulling my leg. But if this ever happens…
