it’s a scavenger hunt!
Have I got a fun game for you! For one day only (that would be today :cool ), I’m holding a Scavenger Hunt here in The Dungeon.
As some of you may have noticed, we’ve been doing a lot of updating here at WIPs and Chains, as well as over the entire HeidiBetts.com website. So my question is: How much attention have you been paying to what goes on around here? :mistress
This is where you get the chance to prove just how observant a Darling of The Dungeon you are. Peruse your surroundings. Visit each & every page of my website (blog included) & glance around. Then come back here & list all the changes you can find.
Now, we aren’t going to make this hard on you. The changes should be fairly easy to spot because they’re simply updates to what’s always been there. In other words, mostly related to the promotion of my upcoming releases instead of older titles.
And you can include items that have been up for a while. Not a long while, but a little while. You know, like certain fun little items on this page (or rather the comments section of this page) that we’ve been playing around with for a few weeks. Starts with Emo, ends with ons, has a tic in between. (Okay, if you can’t figure out that one, I give up. :knock )
You’re on your own from here on out, but hopefully you get the idea. And feel free to list every little thing you think might be new/updated, because the more you find, the better your changes of winning.
The Darling(s) who spots the most new additions to HeidiBetts.com & WIPs & Chains will win a Grab Bag of goodies from Mistress Heidi‘s Box o’ Fun. But this will be at my discretion, since some items listed might only really count as one; certain items may not actually qualify as “new;” or we may end up with a bunch of Darlings who all have pretty long lists.
And as far as the Grab Bag goes, this will be a handful of fun giveaway stuff I’ve been saving up. No rhyme or reason, just whatever I find that I think you’ll enjoy & can fit into a box or bubble mailer. 
And, yes, it will probably include an autographed book. :babybook
I’m also going to be holding this Scavenger Hunt on my HappyBookers YahooGroup, so there could technically be two chances for you to win if you’re a member over there. If you’re not, now is a good time to sign up. Hint, hint. :lildev

The Cookie Monster cartoon is new and the 50’s style Heidi picture.
For emoticon: ROFL, THe cupcake, the cooking one, the happy face w/ beach ball, the computer one (I can relate), the happy face with the gun, the happy face crying, the egg, the girl fight, the flag, the devil with pitchfork, the two happy faces in bed, the happy face with bandage, the happy face with spikes, the one eating spaghetti, the blue guy smacking the other, the white Cat (?) with the question marks, the ornage drink that empties, the happy face that turns into a devil.
I believe the What We’re Watching changed recently. All About Mistress Heidi has changed or it used to be about another author cause I remember the favorite color was black.
I think the last poster of the day used to get a pot o’gold instead of devil horns.
Whew, I’m tired.

I’m not terribly observant so the only other change I can see is the book selection at the very top of this page and the home page.
I noticed the smiley face whipping the purple one, but that’s been there a while now.

And btw, it’s fine if you—plural, I mean anyone/everyone—comes back & posts more of their finding throughout the day. You don’t have to get them all listed at the same time in the same post if you spot other items during multiple visits.

Ok..Im not very observant either but here are my observations…
The chick on the home page is currently reading The Bite Before Christmas…( great read by the way) there is also a spring scene in the window behind her.
Im not sure if you( Heidi) were lady Godiva before…
On the books page you sure do have a lot of great reads there! some of those are definitely new..and eagerly anticipated!!
On the blogs page the sidebar on the right is constantly changing! and always amusing! and Mr. Sandman is MINE… just so ya all know!! We also have a new little whipping man and a smiley with an umbrella and raining hearts….along with the jumping kitteh and the flagwaver… planter,blue writer,baby getting his thingee caught in the book,and the headbanger.
the other pages Im not sure on…
