You’re lucky. We usually get a tiny bit in November, then a bit more for Xmas (just enough to call it a white one), then it doesn’t really hit until January or so. But this year, it’s been snow, snow, ice, frigid winds, ice, snow… Very few decent days in between. :smiley12
I fear for the next few months, I tell you. Fear them! :smiley75
The Winter Solstice… My mother went into labor with one of my younger brothers on this this day 54 yrs ago, but he was born on the 22nd…Strange things can happen on this day… :smiley13 :smiley33
I don’t know about strange things happening on the Winter Solstice (altho I totally believe they could), but it doesn’t help that tomorrow is a New Moon. New Moons & Full Moons drive The Kittehs crazy…which explains why they’ve been climbing the walls the past couple days. :smiley13
lol it’s still in the 60’s here during the day. We don’t get snow in Vegas so I guess I’ll just have to make due with waiting for my friends on FB who live in snow areas start posting pictures of it.
:smiley50
We got about 2 inches of snow here a few years ago and the news media went absolutely nuts. It was actually funny to watch. They caught people trying to make snow men *about 1 foot high* out of the snow they found on the ground. Most of it was dirty snow so we saw a lot of dirty snowmen. LOL
I hope you guys will also pop in on my “Fans of Heidi Betts” Facebook page a couple times today to check out the Winter Funnies I’ll be posting. They made me LOL, so hopefully you will, too! :smiley33
Happy first day of winter! :smiley61
Although that’s kind of scary since it feels like it’s already been winter here for a while :smiley63 :smiley66 :smiley58

This is the time of year when you’re really, really lucky to live where you do while the rest of us suffer. :smiley75
Come summer, tho, I do not envy you a bit. No, I do not! :smiley50
