Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday!  And soon :VDay

So how did your team do last week in the Super Bowl? :winkwink

This week, I AM HAPPY that our very own Darling Hollie will be joining us on Monday, February 13th for a “Meet the Darlings guest blog.  I’ve gotten a sneak peek at her interview, of course, & it’s a blast.  Plus, she’s giving away a great little prize she made with her own two hands.  (In an attempt to keep the Devil away, I suspect.  You know…idle hands & all. :cuffs )

I AM HAPPY that the writing is still going well.  And I’m starting to get used to working the night shift. :runrun

I AM HAPPY that iTunes exists, so that when I get a bug about a certain song, I can zip over & download it instantly.  Yes, I’m just that obsessive-compulsive.  This week, I re-bought Aerosmith’s “Pink,” even though I know darn well I own the flipping album :angry as well as Brandi Carlile’s “The Story,” Katy Perry’s “Hot N Cold,” & Kansas’s “Carry on Wayward Son” (thanks to my Supernatural obsessive-compulsiveness).

I AM HAPPY, too, for the Repeat button, which allows me to listen to these four songs, & only these four songs, over & over a zillion times in a row. :kitty

I AM HAPPY that the Sears repairman came out this weekend & fixed my mini refrigerator.  It’s already working much better…i.e. actually getting & staying cold—gee, what a concept…& I’m no longer functioning out of a cooler with ice packs.  Before you think this is too bizarre of me, I have to have a mini-fridge upstairs for Phantom Kitty’s food.  She never leaves my bedroom, so I have to feed her up there, & it’s just too much trouble to run up & downstairs every five minutes…which is about how often she thinks she’s hungry. :moon

And last but not least I AM HAPPY that IFC has started to replay Action.  Does anyone remember this super-funny Jay Mohr sitcom that was cancelled (by dumbass Fox! :curses ) after only a handful of episodes?  It was raunchy as all get out, but hilarious!  So I’m enjoying it all over again.  I’ve also just discovered that the entire (again, very short-lived) series is out on DVD, so I may have to add it to my Want List.  At the very least, it’s already on my Think About It list. :muahaha

So how about you?  What’s on your list this week—Gratitude, Want, Think About It, or Other…? :winkwink

Now to announce the winner of our latest Free Book Friday giveaway, the Valentine-themed Harlequin Blaze Not Another Blind Date… by Janelle Denison, Leslie Kelly, & Jo Leigh…

:twirl Anne!!! :twirl

Congratulations, Anne! :thumbsup Please contact me with your full name & mailing information, & I’ll get your book out to you as soon as I can!  (Fair warning:  I am currently very low on/out of mailers, so this may take me longer than usual.  Luckily, the thicker books are the ones causing me problems…this smaller one may not be as much of an issue. :winkwink )

I am happy that mailman actually got it right this week and delivered all my packages to me and not my neighbors.

I am happy that the winds finally died down and my windows stopped shaking for now and don’t sound like they are going to explode.

And I am happy that my latest article was just published and hope it’s ok to share it with you here. http://voices.yahoo.com/article/9364552/how-give-rat-subcutaneous-injection-10953746.html?cat=71

I am happy I finally understand how to find a reply on Twitter..instead of going back through the persons posts that replied to you all you have to do is click on @and your name by the status bar…omg that will save me a lot of time..LOL I just don’t use Twitter that much and am still learning the ropes…ahahaha :muahaha

LOL Your note about the postman made me laugh. Yes, nice that he’s finally figuring out where you actually live. I joke that the paperboy (who’s really a man in the van) must think we live in the garage (which is unattached & about 10 yards from the house) because he never, ever gets the paper anywhere near us, it’s always up by the road in front of the garage. *sigh*

As for Twitter…yay that you’re learning how to use it better. I’m still clueless about a lot of things. But bad news…I hear they’re changing it again. Haven’t seen them myself yet, but someone was just complaining about the new look & how things were working now. Gack! :angry

    I’m happy I’m today’s winner.

I also happy to be at home after taking 11 days vacation with my parents, had a good, but not exciting time, just hard to be away from the cats so long. :jumping

Bad day (migraine, husband…. :curses Let’s just say Chuck Norris would not have tried to challenge me today) but it’s starting to look up (that could be the medication talking). And of course, it’s right before bedtime, but the iPad is charged and I’ve got a new book to start.

I’m with you Heidi on canceling the good shows. What is up with that!?!? I LOVED Action so I’m going to have to try and find it on DVD too. I’ll save the rest of my rant for Moan & Groan Monday.

    • Heidi says:

Been working on my taxes today, so I’m right there w/ you on the migraine. The rest may have to be done w/ a great deal of alcohol in my system. :drinkup

And thanks for the reminder about M&G Monday…it’s on my calendar, but I like to post reminders before I go to bed, otherwise it’ll be noon before you guys know what the heck is supposed to be going on. :oops
