Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday, everyone!  And Happy New Year!!

How were your holidays?  We want to hear all about it—what you found under the tree, what you did with friends & family, how many books Santa stuffed into your stockings, & whether or not you made any New Year’s resolutions! :monkey:

This week, I AM HAPPY for another warm & happy holiday spent in the New House with my family & The Kittehs.  It really is wonderful to be somewhere so safe & peaceful & beautiful, & I’m thankful every day that I get to live here.  I absolutely love looking out the windows to see nothing but snow & trees & sky. :snowflakes:

I AM HAPPY that just before the holidays, I stumbled upon a “leftover from Black Friday” DVD sale at Walmart where I found some truly fabulous movies to add to my ever-growing collection at great prices.  I, FrankensteinHotel TransylvaniaHotel Transylvania 2Despicable MeSPY Jurassic World … Person of Interest (Season5) … Yay!  So I put them away & gave them to myself for Christmas.  ‘Cause, you know—I’m really the best person to buy me exactly what I want. :sexyelf:

I AM HAPPY that I dug out a bunch of Christmas romances to read & put me in the holiday spirit.  This season, I got through A Virgin River Christmas by Robyn Carr … “A Soldier for All Seasons” by Rachel Lee … An Outlaw for Christmas by Lori Handeland … “Ms. Humbug” by Jill Shalvis … “Seducing Scrooge” by Katherine Garbera …  And I’m still working on “A Good Girl’s Guide to a Very Bad Christmas” by Kylie Adams & the Christmas Brides anthology with stories by Suzanne Enoch, Alexandra Hawkins, Elizabeth Essex, & Valerie Bowman. :cozyread:

The best of these, by far, was Lori Handeland’s An Outlaw for Christmas. Totally a Keeper for me.  If you haven’t read it yet—do!!!  And Robyn Carr’s A Virgin River Christmas would come in second as very, very, very good. :hohoho:

Lastly, I AM HAPPY & touched that my god-doggy Silas’s mum was kind enough to gift me with this adorable cat mug for Christmas:

Isn’t it cute?  It’s also sturdy & holds a good amount of liquid, which we all know are two very important qualities to a new mug.  Plus, pretty much everything I own is covered in cat hair, so it’s highly appropriate, as well.

How about you?  Take a minute to share all the good news from your holidays or just what great stuff is going on with you right now.  We want to hear about it—all the positive, happy stuff—& celebrate with you! :hugs:

:newyear: It was a bit of a mix of quiet and crazy for me. The main thing was that I saw most of my family over the holidays. For the next few weeks I will be most likely seeing friends as I am moving residents for a couple of weeks. There are some reno’s being done in my apartment and so I am moving to my aunts house. She is in Florida and lets me use her place when ever I need a place to stay..
So have a good week all and I will try to check in now and then. :sexyelf:

That’s great, Kathleen! I know you were worried about the noise from the renovations, & now you won’t have to deal with them at all. :monkeyangel:

And getting to see family & friends is a blessing. It’s a shame so many of us only manage it once a year for the holidays. :merryxmas:

Good luck getting moved into your aunt’s place & hunkering down there until your place is quiet again. :candycanetwirl:
