Happy Sunday
Happy Sunday, everyone!
So…it’s been a rough couple of weeks since the Presidential Election—for me personally, anyway. I’ll allow the rest of you to form your own opinions & either grieve or celebrate in your own way. :blackcat:
But there is much to be happy & thankful for, too. And now, more than ever, I think it’s important to stop & remember that…to focus on the good & the positive instead of the bad & our fears about the future.
So while you begin your own mental gratitude lists, I’ll kick things off…
I AM HAPPY that I’m happy again. I am looking on the bright side, staying positive, reinforcing my faith in humanity & what good people can do when faced with adversity. As I’ve said on Facebook & Twitter more than once, we can’t let political issues come between us, & we can’t let hatred or ugliness win. Now, more than ever, we need to BE THE CHANGE WE WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD. Show tolerance, acceptance, & compassion to everyone. And most of all, LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
I AM HAPPY that I knocked out a couple more movies that were eating up space on the DVR: Avengers: Age of Ultron & Brick Mansions. Loved Ultron, but—as much as I love Paul Walker, & still can’t believe he’s gone —Mansions was lousy.
I AM HAPPY that I got another puppy fix this week. Remember the adorable doggie I watched for a week or so at the beginning of the month? Well, I didn’t think I’d see him again for ages, but turns out his human had to be away on Wednesday & entrusted the little rascal with me for the afternoon. Yay! The Kittehs weren’t happy, but I sure did enjoy it. :leafjump:
And finally, I AM HAPPY (I think) that I’ve developed a rather strong & sudden crush on Tom Hiddleston. It came completely out of the blue thanks to a dream I had one night just before my birthday. Before that, I honestly hadn’t given much thought to him except when I was actually watching one of his movies. But now…oh, yeah, he’s definitely been added to Mistress Heidi‘s stable of boy toys. Which means hands off, my Darlings—hands off.

Enjoy your Tom crush.
I am grateful for the upcoming holiday season and that it was another good Lancaster weekend. The theater put on a very good holiday show and it was good family fun.

Oh, I am very much enjoying my Tom fixation. :turkeyrun:
I’m kind of excited about the holidays myself…tho not for any particular reason. The show sounds great, tho—I’ll have to see if they’re doing anything fun like that around here. You know, if I decide to bundle up & actually leave the house. :scarecrow:
