Happy Sunday
Happy Sunday, everyone! Did you have a good week & enjoy your weekend? :kite:
Well, you know what today is…it’s time to share those parts of our lives that we’re thankful for from the past week & show a little gratitude for how lucky we truly are. :kisses:
So this week, I AM HAPPY that I remembered to cancel the three months of free HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, & Starz that I got for signing up with DirecTV. It’s funny how I was disappointed to lose them, even though the entire time I had them, I don’t think I watched them more than once or twice. Seriously, after recording half a dozen movies that I had on my other (DishNetwork) DVRs & wanted to reclaim, they were a complete snooze. I don’t know why anyone would actually pay for any of those channels. :drunkhulk:
Anyway…
I AM HAPPY that the Physical Therapy for my knee seems to be going well, & everyone there is a blast. I so dreaded having to go three times a week at first, but now I only dread having to wake up, get dressed, & leave the house—actually being there is kind of fun. :dancin:
I AM HAPPY, too, that I’ve discovered a nifty new piece of exercise equipment, thanks to PT: the Recumbent Stepper. Never thought I could enjoy a “StairMaster,” but this thing is a blast! You sit & pedal, but it’s not a bike. And I want one—I want one BAD. Unfortunately, they’re kind of expensive.
Kind of? Ha! Try very…as in thousands of dollars.
I’ve alternately threaten to steal it or begged them to give me at the end of my time there, but they don’t seem to keen on that, so I may have to settle for waiting until I win the lottery. :potofgold:
All of that—with the exception of not being gifted with a recumbent stepper :caterpillar: —is keeping me busy and happy. :bagpipes:

Despite the horrible weather this week. We had everything, rain, snow, freezing rain, it ended with a wonderful birthday celebration for one of my BFFs’ or as we refer to ourselves as “the group of 7”.. :kisses:
I could do with that stepper too!! 🙂

Glad to hear the physical therapy is going well. My good news this week is that a whole mess of bee’s, like hundreds of them were in a tree in my apartment courtyard and no one was stung while they were here. They moved on within 2 hours on invading a tree.

Last week’s happy was a snow day on Thursday so no school.
This week’s happy is a day off on Friday and a meeting with human resources so I can get my plan of action set up for leaving at the end of the school year! 10 years is too long for me. Next adventure will be starting an on-line craft shop. Maybe an etsy even. The possibilities are endless!!
