Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday, everybody!  How are you doing this week? :may11

This week, I AM HAPPY that I’ve finally made a dent in the stack of items I needed to review & return.  Not Top Secret Project #2, unfortunately, but it’s next on my list.

I AM HAPPY that I’ve got a brand new bird feeder post in my back yard where one of my favorite trees used to be.  I miss the tree, but it lived a good, long life, & both died & fell naturally.  But it’s spot has been so bare & I missed having bird feeders there in the perfect spot for The Kittehs to enjoy the action.  So I had Mr. Handyman build a post that matches the ones from the clothesline, with a hook on each side to hang bird feeders.  Yay!  It looks a little bit like an Old West grave site, especially with fresh dirt still piled around the base, but I know the birds are going to love it!

I AM HAPPY that ION & IONW are back on.  About a week ago, the channels suddenly disappeared from DishNetwork’s line-up & I nearly went into hysterics. :may38   They’re two of my favorite stations, running some of my favorite shows—Leverage, Numb3rs, Criminal Minds, Burn Notice, Psych, Monk…  They’re my go-to channels, for sure, & I especially love that IONW runs the exact same schedule as ION, just three hours later.  It gives me the chance to catch something later if I didn’t catch it earlier, or to watch great stuff twice in one day!  (And, yes, when it comes to Leverage, I definitely want to see the exact same episodes more than once in a row. :may3 )

So I freaked out when it suddenly disappeared, e-mailing both DishNetwork & ION to find out what the heck was going on.  I’m still not sure, but the important thing is that it was back on in 24 hours.  Thank you, oh, ye gods of television!  And this week, I AM HAPPY that it’s stuck.  I was a little worried it was only back for a short time & would be taken away again.  Eep! :May10   But so far, so good.  It’s Leverage marathons on Sundays & Numb3rs in the wee hours of every night, making Heidi a very happy girl. :may2

And finally, am I allowed to mention once again that I AM HAPPY to have the yard mowed?  I know it seems like I’m mentioning that a lot, but I really am happy every single time I get it done.  Not my favorite pastime, in case you haven’t noticed. :May37   And this time around, I’d let it go for a couple of very rain-filled weeks, so the grass was kind of out of control.  Sheesh.  But now it’s done & we can all take bets on how long I can let it go before I have to mow again. :may4

That will just about do it for me—how about you?  What’s going on this week that’s made you happy or that you want to take a minute to be grateful for?  We want to hear, so be sure to share!  :may9

I am happy that my daughter turns 23 today! Hard to believe I actually raised a child to become a constructive member of society and not a psychopath.
