Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday!  What have you got to be happy &/or thankful about this week?

Well, I AM HAPPY that it’s finally Spring!  Officially, anyway, even if the temperature doesn’t seem to be falling in line very quickly.  Fingers crossed Mother Nature gets with the program soon. :green3

I AM HAPPY that I recorded Star Trek & Star Trek: Into Darkness, & that y’all talked me into finally watching them.  I’ve really been enjoying them!

For one thing, they’re brimming over with hotties I never expected to find.  I knew about Chris Pine, but Karl Urban?  Chris Hemsworth?  Eric Bana?  No one ever told me they were involved or I’d have probably watched these movies much sooner! :green27

For another, they’re absolutely hilarious.  Okay, so maybe they’re not supposed to be funny, but the comic relief is outstanding, especially between Kirk (Pine) & McCoy (Urban).  I’ve been laughing way more than I ever thought I would.  All in all, I totally wish I’d gotten around to seeing them sooner. :green21

I AM HAPPY that I got The Dungeon sidebar (look right –>) updated.  A little bit for Spring, a little bit just for fun. :green25   Soon I’ll have to work on getting new Spring/Easter emoticons added to our blog!

And last but not least, I AM HAPPY that Karma finally came around to bite somebody in the ass who richly deserved it.  Sorry, but it’s true.  (And don’t worry, it’s no one you know. :green13 )  I’m only sorry it took so darn long; I’m more a fan of Instant Karma—or at least the Quick Oats/microwaveable kind. :green30

But better late than never, right?  :green5

How about the rest of you?  What are you feeling good about this week that you’d like to share?  Whatever you have to be grateful for, we’re listening! :green12

After too many years on dialysis (which I am convinced it actually the definition of hell), my brother got a new kidney on Friday! Literally an answer to many years of praying. :green1

My cup of happiness truly overflows this week. My dad’s chemo is going great so far!! I’m going to finally see hubby in 40 days! It will be 209 days since we’ve seen each other, so this is the home stretch. And I get a weekend in NYC as an added bonus!! :green4

And I just started a diet 5 days ago, and I could swear that when I went and weighed myself today the needle is starting to creep down a bit. YAY!! And a special thanks for those who’ve been my inspiration and are helping to keep me motivated!! :green1

Y’all have an amazing Sunday!! :green25

I have lots to be happy about this week. First and foremost, my second Love&Baseball novel, BEAUTY AND THE BALLPLAYER, was released this week.

I’m happy that baseball season has officially begun (Dodgers and D-backs Down Under, baby!), providing fresh inspiration for a still-to-be-written fourth book.

I’m happy that I should get to see the new Muppets movie next weekend, and that I have one more week of work and then a week of vacation coming my way. I’ll be at the Desert Dreams romance writers’ conference in Phoenix April 4-6. Counting down the days.

Ah yes, Karma…she will get to you sooner or later.

This week I am very happy that I adopted two more rats. A family friend who had them wasn’t able to give them the time they need so she gave them to me. One is a little hairless girl and the other looks a lot like my Lucky. Black and white..they are both 6 months old.

I am also happy that my daughter has now been at her job for a month and she is loving working. It’s her first real job so I am really proud of her.

I had an okay week. Went to a Hockey game on Friday night and our team won.. Got hugged and kissed by the young man sitting next to me.. He was a little bit :green26 in his cups… but he was harmless.. So all in all a good week.

Not nearly as much happened with me (see above…that’s the best I could do :green30 ) but I’m happy to let the rest of you run around & sparkle while I stay in my Writing Cave. :green15

:green9 Don’t like hearing that, Cindy. We’re glad you’re still around, too! :green1

Spring is here, & one of these days the weather will figure that out—as soon as it’s sunnier, we’ll *all* start feeling better! So hang in there. :green26
