LOL Yeah, I knew it would be disappointing not to need the Eye Bleach today, but I mean, it *is* a nationally recognized holiday. Sort of. :kissmeirish
I’m still waiting to hear whether he saw his shadow or not. And someone will have to tell me, because I just don’t care enough to look it up or watch the news. :tongue
I believe my dad, who always said it didn’t matter what the groundhog saw, we’re still in for 6 more weeks of winter. The shadow thing just lets us know if those weeks will be rough or mild.
But since the plow just went by, spreading salt (on roads that are currently clear), I’m guessing any “mild” winter weather we get won’t start for a while yet. splat
I have been watching Downton Abbey season 2 all day… And I am one of those people who don’t believe in some rodent telling me when winter will end and spring will begin… it’s going to happen when Mother nature says it does… I will believe a woman before a rodent male… LOL
