Another South Carolina-set romance I read while working on ON THE VERGE OF I DO is Sandra Brown’s The Alibi. Really liked this one, & it’s actually set right smack-dab in Charleston, SC…as is ON THE VERGE OF I DO. (Hint, hint. :patrick )

Ohmigosh, have you never read a Sandra Brown book? They’re SO GOOD!!! Her older ones are more romance-romance, but even now that she’s moved into suspense, they’re still fantastic & always have a romance at their core. At least all the ones I’ve read do.
