Happy Canada Day! 
In honor of this respected holiday, I thought it would be fun to share some Canadian funnies today.
And my favorite, because I’m a total maple syrup whore…

Sadly, I don’t have any books on my pile that are set in Canada, nor can I think of any Canadian romance authors right off the top of my head. (And even if I could, I don’t know that I’d have one of their books on my pile, either.) So I’m going for simply a red theme, in hopes that you’ll be willing to pretend this book has anything to do with Canada Day. :tongue
This week’s Free Book Friday giveaway is Quicksand by Iris Johanesen. See—it’s red. With a bit of sand that could be mistaken for white. White lettering, anyway. Go with me on this, people. :whip

FBF My favorite canadian authors are Lynsay Sands & Tanya Huff. There may be more but I can’t think of them this early. Have a great Canada Day.

Quicksand looks like a pretty good book to add to my collection of books. So FBF is a favorite part of my fridays being as i’m stuck working the weekends. :argh

Today is my “get the whole house cleaned and get packed” day…we are going to Upstate NY for the better part of the next week….
We will only be HOURS away from CANADA eh!!!
We wont be entering Canada’s space…no passports. and I dont feel like running the borders! Unless the Mounties are HOT…then it wont necessarily be running…..

I love Iris Johansen’s books. Sometimes I got a while without reading one cuz I’m so far behind & he’s a little too prolific. Then I’ll pick on up & think, “Dangit, I’ve gotta catch up with this woman.” :babybook
Speaking of Mounties, who remembers the CBS series Due South? Gosh, I loved that show. Pretty sure I’ve got all the seasons on DVD & now I’m in the mood. May have to pull them out & have myself a little marathon over the weekend. :beachball
