PhotobucketFREE BOOK FRIDAY

Can you believe our last winner of this fun & sexy cookbook never claimed her prize?  She’s obviously a crazy person. :knock  Ah, well…that just gives the rest of you a second chance to score the good stuff. :wink

So this week’s Free Book Friday giveaway is once again Stud Muffins: Luscious, Delectable, Yummy (and Good Muffin Recipes, Too!)

To enter the giveaway for this book, simply leave a comment to today’s post that includes the code FBF—for “Free Book Friday,” of course—to let me know you’re interested in the drawing. (U.S. residents only for the prize, please, but everyone is welcome to chat.)

Winner will be announced during our Happy Sunday post on…well, you know, Sunday. Winner is responsible for contacting me with her mailing information—i.e. I will not be contacting you—so be sure to check back in or you might not even know you won! :crying (If prize isn’t claimed within 14 days, another name may be drawn or item may be tossed back into the goody bag to be re-used for a future giveaway.)

FBF. Everytime I see that image, I just want to smile. Talk about a dish you just want to eat hot.

(I know, I’m ashamed of having typed that sentence.)

  3. Hollie says:

    Hahahaha Marci!

We are having some glorious rain this morning! :umbrella We really needed it too after the 90 degree temps!

Hope you are feeling a little better Heidi after your bout with the Toystory 3 blues…. :crying
    I know I wont watch it…EVER!!

    HAPPY FRIDAY DUNGEON DWELLERS!!!

  4. Shannon says:

How could someone not claim their prize? Especially that prize!

I bought Up and Toy Story 3 and have yet to watch them. My mom borrowed Up, so that’s at least unwrapped. I haven’t had the courage to watch them after the sobbing I did in the theater. fbf

  5. Mary Kirkland says:

    Happy FBF!
Ok, I want that book and the goodies he has…*What? I meant the muffins* lol

    :angelme

  6. Anne says:

The first picture hits home. I had a cat, Roger, who loved oreo cookies (who doesn’t?). I would hide in my bedroom with the door almost shut with a book in front of my face and very quietly eat them. She (yes, Roger was a she, a very dainty she, my mother after having 4 kids couldn’t tell the difference and the name stuck) would hunt me and the cookies down every time. She would eat at least a half a cookie.

I know, I know, chocolate is bad for animals, but she lived to be 18 despite being bony as a skeleton and vomiting almost daily for most of her life (vets could find nothing) and I rarely had oreos in the house. 20 years gone now and I still miss her.

    • Heidi says:

That is SO cute! I had a dog who LOVED cheese puffs. And I have a cat now who loved Cheez-its (tho I suspect he’s only in it for the salt). Animals can be so funny sometimes, esp. in their food likes/dislikes. My cats also eat lettuce, broccoli, chicken soup… It’s weird as all get-out. :kittyplay

  7. Holly says:

FBF has become synonomous with TGIF around here. We all look forward to the beginning of the weekend and Heidi’s special giveaway. I think Stud Muffins is the most unique book title I’ve seen in a long time.

    Holly

    • Heidi says:

I’m very happy to hear that, Holly! And you say that as though there’s a group of you gathering around the computer, hoping to win…this makes me very happy. The more the merrier! :cool

  8. Heidi says:

Yes, it’s true. I am sometimes quite disappointed that winners don’t claim *I* would stand in line to collect. But I don’t think everyone realizes that the “rules” state you’ve gotta come back on Sunday to see if you won, & then you have to *contact me* with your info. Sorry, but I don’t have time to track people down; just getting prizes in the mail is challenging enough for me most days. :eggcrack

So please keep that in mind! We love you, we want you to hang out here in The Dungeon, we want you to enter all the giveaways, & WIN. But you’ve gotta come back & keep an eye out, & when you see your name in the winner’s circle, you’ve gotta send in your info so I can send you your goodies! Pass it on. :flag

  9. tammy ramey says:

  11. JoAnna B says:

  12. Debra G says:

FBF – Love the picture of the cat. The caption fits perfectly. Hope your weekend is great!!

  13. Laura J. says:

Okay…taking a break during date night for FBF (Zak, Nick and Aaron are my dates again (and with a few ghosts) and every Friday night and when nothing else is on tv. Yeah, this show is my guilty pleasure and well Zak is pretty sexy and well….I don’t think I need to say any more.

I have no plans to watch TS3. Nope. Don’t do tear jerkers movies.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

    • Heidi says:

Oh, but it’s so good, Laura—cute & funny & sweet. And it’s not a tear-jerker in the traditional sense. Nobody dies. It’s just a…changing of the guard, kids-growing-up, life goes on sort of thing that hits you right…here… :bees

Even with the :scared I still want all three on DVD.

  14. Kathy Schindler says:

:eyelashes FBF …. I want a stud muffin too!! :howyoudoin

  15. Cy says:

FBF – humor on a rainy day is good

  16. Robin Blankenship says:

Happy FBF I would love to cook with that.

    Robin

    • Heidi says:

Robin! You are the one we’re all pointing fingers at today for NOT claiming this prize two weeks ago: http://heidibetts.com/2011/05/happy-sunday-29/ :madchef As I mentioned above, you’ve gotta come back on Sundays to see if you won whatever prizes I give away during the week! :lildev

The good news is, I actually have more than one of these cookbooks tucked away, so if you see this & want to lay claim to it before the 14 days are up, be sure to contact me ( http://heidibetts.com/contact/ ) with your mailing addy & I’ll send it out to you.

And now worries for everybody else—I’ll still pick another winner for this week’s second copy. :howyoudoin

  17. Veronica says:

LOL! What a clever idea for a cookbook this weeks’ FBF is! That would be a hoot! And too bad the book doesn’t come with the guy on the front…
