   :yay: Had a quiet day since my daughter lives in Wisconsin. But I was lucky at the employee holiday party. I won a 32″ LCD TV and a $25 gift card to Darden restaurants ( Olive Garden, Red Lobster,Long Horn etc).

       I work in a nursing home and we has basket raffles for 6 weeks to help pay for the Christmas presents so all the employees had a chance to win something. It was the luck of the draw.

   The hubs and I kicked back and relaxed as we did the empty nest thing. Hubs opened his gifts and I watched. We had to replace my scooter as my old one was stolen so my new one was my gift. Hope you had a great one.

   My daughter and grandson came over and I made dinner of ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, roasted asparagus and biscuits and chocolate cake for dessert.

   I got $100 in gift cards, a box of fruit teas, a coffee mug with a rat on it and I bought myself a new toaster and some clothes.

   Had a quiet day (Christmas Eve) with MIL, hubster, youngest and his gf.
   Christmas Day we just chilled all day…my parents came over for a bit.
   I received a purse, pj’s, cash, gift cert for one of our fav places to eat, a vase made out of books w/ fresh flowers, a shirt, a gift cert for Bath & Body Works and homemade dish cloths 🙂
