Happy Sunday
Happy Sunday, my Darlings!
First & foremost, you’re welcome. Because I know you must be thinking, Oooh, thank you, Mistress Heidi, for that luscious hunka Happy Sunday man. So as I said, you’re welcome. :wink
This week, I AM HAPPY to actually have my laundry done. I did it before this dirty, sexy hot-a-tot-tot dropped by, more’s the pity. But still…it’s done.
I AM HAPPY, too, that I got the lawn mowed. Again. I’m averaging yard work about once a month at this point, since I hate it so very, very much, but it’s done for a while now & lookin’ good.
I AM HAPPY that I got through something very unpleasant this week. Didn’t want to do it, but it needed to be done…you know what that’s like, right? And I got through it without a scratch. The situation isn’t resolved & there are likely more confrontations to come, but this week’s issue is out of the way. Whew.
So how about you? What are you happy or grateful for this week? And don’t be shy…we want to hear your hoorays & hurrahs!
And now for the winner of this week’s Free Book Friday title, Tempting Juliana by Lauren Royal.
:getdown Shadow!!! :getdown
Congratulations, Shadow! :claphat Please contact me with your full name & mailing information, & I’ll get your book out to you as soon as I can!
(P.S: Our FBF title from two weeks ago—Burn Notice: The Giveaway–is still unclaimed. If you entered & think you may have won, be sure to go back & check that Sunday’s post to be sure.)

Happy Sunday, Heidi!!!
I haz a few happies: *ahem*
I am happy I attended my local chapter of RWA for a meeting yesterday. I joined last November but circumstances being what they are kept me away until now :whistledev Darynda Jones, author of First Grave on the Right was there speaking and she was so awesome, I just wanted to give her a big ole hug. But I didn’t, because I didn’t want her to think I was weird. :kittylaugh
Also, her book was just released in softcover and she told me as she autographed mine that it was the first trade paperback she’d signed. I’m a sucker for firsts, and being a link in someone’s life journey (I’m sort of a hippie that way :hippie ), so this tickled me pink!
Lastly, I am happy that my husband read my most recent book and afterwards proceeded to tell me how shocked and amazed he was that it was so good (backhanded compliment? LOL) I loved sitting next to him and hearing him laugh at all the parts I thought was funny. I know he’s not an editor or an agent, but wow, did I need the encouragement! I’ll take it! :beachball

What are you, psychic? He is :sexy …freakin’ smexy and lickable (that’s my new word). My mind is a little blank…um, what was I sayin’? Oh…I’m happy because of places like this where I can hang out and have fun.
I’m happy because today is my of my “up” day, and that is partially thanks to you.
I’m not happy that I can’t seem to find the motivation to keep writing right now.
I’m just happy that I’m happy.
Peace and love,
Paula R.

I have been known to experience a psychic vision or two, Paula…how did you know? :whistledev But, yes, Laundry Boy is very lickable. (I like that…gonna start using it more often myself, I think. :tongue )
Glad you’re having an UP day & enjoying your return to The Dungeon.
And don’t worry too much about the lack of writing motivation. It comes & goes…& goes more often during the Summer, I think. Who wants to be tied to a keyboard when sun & sand & beaches & nature are calling? :picnic :garden :jump :beachball But it’ll come. You might have hit a snag in or your story or maybe even just need to read something somebody else wrote to help inspire you again. Or maybe you just need a break. :sleeping

Paula R. says:
Hey lady, thanks for the advice. I lost the thread of the story somewhere, and it’s frustrating trying to find where it us. It being summer has nothing to do with my writing though…at least not for the reasons you listed. I don’t do any of those things. I’m so boring. I wish that was my excuse. I read lots and lots and lots.
Peace and love,
Paula R.
