what’s cookin’, hot stuff?
We’ve got another great recipe for you today, to celebrate the lead-up to my bakery-themed June Harlequin Desire, HER LITTLE SECRET, HIS HIDDEN HEIR.
This one isn’t in the story, either, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t yummy. :eats
WAPITI WALNUT PIE
Ingredients:
1 unbaked pie shell
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup dark brown corn syrup
3 tablespoons Jack Daniels whiskey
1 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Directions:
Blend eggs, sugar, syrup, and whiskey.
Sprinkle pie crust with nuts & chocolate chips.
Pour egg mixture over nuts.
Bake at 325 for 45 minutes.
Cool before cutting, but best if served a little warm.
Optional: Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
By the way, we’re doing a bit of a recipe swap over at my HappyBookers YahooGroup in preparation for the release of HER LITTLE SECRET, HIS HIDDEN HEIR, too. So if you’d like to collect even more great recipes, & maybe share a few of your own, be sure to sign up!

Hey, Laura~
Have you seen Yes Man yet? Your Bradley looks *awfully* good all the way thru it. :eats
And is it just me, or is he in, like, every other movie out there these days?! :howyoudoin

Yep, he’s in a bunch of stuff. Can’t wait until Hangover 2. I haven’t seen Yes Man yet, but want to.
Bradley stars regularly in my fantasies which are not safe for public viewing. :us :naughty

Every time I turn around, Bradley unexpectedly pops up in something. I used to think Patrick Wharburton was the hardest working man in Hollywood, but now I think it might be Bradley.
And you really should see Yes Man. It’s been on TBS (or maybe TNT; I get the 2 confused) a few times recently, so bet you could catch it there again soon. It isn’t wonderful, but is funny enough to watch at least once…& did I mention that Bradley is really good & extremely CUTE all the way thru? Jim Carrey was the star, but I was much more enamored of The Brad. :eyelashes

I should say that he is my screen saver on my iPad and he’s my wallpaper on my computer. My husband just shakes his head (and for the laptop just closes the lid). Yeah, like I would want his picture as my screen saver.

Well, I had a computer guy here today—from a place call Eagle Haven, which I accidentally called Evil Haven when they called & now I kind of like it :mwah —messing with my PC & it was too funny when he discovered that my desktop background is rotating pics of Dwayne…& how many pics of Dwayne I have in MyPics, etc. I said, “I have a really good reason for saving all of those!” to which he responded :ROFL
