free book Friday funny
A FRIDAY FUNNY
With the Super Bowl on Sunday—even though I am not, in general, that big a sports fan—how could I possibly post anything other than football funnies today?
(This one isn’t even American football, but I couldn’t resist.)
FREE BOOK FRIDAY
This week’s free book is my very own TANGLED UP IN LOVE. Why? you might be wondering. Well, don’t forget, the hero, Dylan Stone, is a sports writer. Which means he loves the Super Bowl & is probably already warming up his seat at the stadium. *g* So while this may not be a football book, per se, it’s really, really close. :winkwink
To enter the giveaway for this book, simply leave a comment to today’s post that includes the code FBF—for “Free Book Friday,” of course—to let me know you’re interested in the drawing. (U.S. residents only for the prize, please, but everyone is welcome to chat.)
Winner will be announced during our Happy Sunday post on…well, you know, Sunday. Winner is also responsible for contacting me with her mailing information—i.e. I will not be contacting you—so be sure to check back in or you might not even know you won! :whhhat (If prize isn’t claimed within 14 days, another name may be drawn or item may be tossed back into the goody bag to be re-used for a future giveaway.)

First again. Am I the only American out there who could care less about the super bowl? I do have the DVD set for Glee after the game. I think I’ll curl up with a good book. FBF

Congrats, Donna—you get to be our Good Girl for the Day & wear that awesome Golden Halo. :angel
I actually don’t care much about *any* football game, even the Super Bowl, but I do feel a modicum of loyalty toward my Pittsburgh Steelers. I probably won’t watch game, but I’ll be rooting for them & will maybe tune in every once in a while to check the score. :brava

Thanks, Mary. TANGLED is one of my faves…every time I think about Ronnie & Dylan, it just makes me smile. :biggestgrin
Re: hubbies who watch football… Check out the Erma Bombeck quote in the sidebar under “Meet Heidi.” :winkwink
And your guess is as good as mine on the last pic. Like I said, it just made me laugh. This is perhaps what happens when you schedule your proctology appt. the same time as your soccer game. :beerlaugh

Its a odd Super Bowl this year, its barely being talked about with the weather the way it is.

Is it just me or doesn’t the player’s sock look like a magnifying glass being held in front of naked guy’s tushie unless you really focus? (And I don’t really want to focus on that tushie, it’s not The Rock’s and that’s for sure.)
I have Tangled so don’t put me in for the book.

I just found out that the Super Bowl was this weekend. Shows how much I pay attention to football.
Showed my hubby the last pic and he said well Rugby is a brutal sport…but usually its broken bones…lol
Anyway, hope everyone has a great weekend and stay warm.

I’m not big into football so I’m just meh about the game. Of course the team I love plays at 2:30 on Sunday so I will be watching THAT.
Well, Hollie, that is no goal celebration, I’ve EVER seen. [Trust me I’ve seen a few good ones.] I’m guessing those guys were initiating the poor dude in the green shirt…

We’ll be watching the game at a friend’s house, but it is more of an excuse to drink because non of our friends cheer for either team.
Thanks for the funnies and FBF! Please count me in for the drawing. :gotcha
