Happy Sunday, everyone! I hope you’re having a great weekend.
This week, I AM HAPPY that I finally got the yard mowed. Yeah, yeah, I know everybody else has been mowing the grass for a month now, but I’m a rebel & simply don’t care. If I had my way, I’d let the grass do whatever it wanted & wait until Winter hit to let the snow kill it naturally. You know, the way God intended.
I AM HAPPY that I’ve finally gotten almost all of the Free Book Friday & Monthly Mystery Prizes (from my HappyBookers loop) that I owe to readers packed up & ready to mail. Now remember, I said almost. There are still a few to go. But I know some of you have been waiting quite a while for your goodies, & I promise you won’t have to wait too much longer.
I AM HAPPY that I finally got a new filling in one of my teeth. It didn’t actually bother me, but the dentist said it needed to be done, & I’d been dreading the procedure so much that I’m happy just to have it out of the way. There was a little more pain than I would have liked, despite their claims that “anesthetics have come a lot way” since the last time I had a filling put in. Especially since the Novocaine wore off almost as soon as I left the office. I literally walked out, got in the car, & went “OW!” Since then I’ve had a low-grade toothache & headache to contend with, but thankfully Motrin helped. And, yeah, I’m still glad it’s done & out of the way.
Last but not least, I AM HAPPY to finally have PROJECT: RUNAWAY BRIDE turned in. It took longer me than I would have liked to revise & polish, but it really did turn out so well. I just love, love, love this story. Very sexy, romantic, & emotionally intense. In my humble opinion, anyway. :winkcat And now it’s on Editor C‘s desk, awaiting his perusal. Fingers crossed he loves Reid & Juliet as much as I do.
So that makes me a pretty happy camper this week—how about you? Tell us what you’re feeling happy &/or grateful about this week so we can do a little jig with you.

I forgot to put a new post together for today. I had ideas, too, but it completely slipped my mind.
