which should I read next?
I’m nearly finished with the final novella in the At the Duke’s Wedding anthology. (My favorite of the entire collection was Caroline Linden’s “When I Met My Duchess.” I really wanted more of that story or a sequel or something. :may21 )
So it’s time to decide what to read next, & I’ve got three books on my immediate To Be Read pile to choose from. The problem is, it’s too hard to choose! :may17
Option #1 — Making an encore appearance from the last time I couldn’t decide what to read next, Bared to You by Sylvia Day is still hovering there, tempting me. :may18
Option #2 — Then there’s Kay Hooper’s The First Prophet. This one has been calling to me for quite a while & I always enjoy a good Kay Hooper romantic suspense. :may4
Option #3 — Fired Up by Jayne Ann Krentz. Another one that’s been staring at me for much too long. And again, I always love a hot & sexy JAK. :may26
Of course, this is the first of a series & I’m not sure how soon I’ll be able to get to the rest of the series, so…do I really want to jump into that? But then, I’m not a stickler for reading a series all in a row & sometimes not even in order unless it’s really, really necessary. (Like with Laurell K. Hamilton’s “Anita Blake” or “Meredith Gentry” series.)
It’s a nail-biting proposition. If only I could read all three of them at once! :may34
But until I acquire that particular super power, how about you guys chime in with which book you think I should read next.

I’d probably start with Fired Up, only because I really love her books and have read most of them.

She is good, isn’t she? Always enjoy her. I’m completely behind & out of order with her different series, tho…so whenever I read her, I just go with it. :mat27 And she does a good job of making sure each book stands alone, even if it’s connected to something else.

LOL Well, that’s my problem…they *all* tempt me. :may21
I am leaning toward Kay Hooper at the moment, but that could change.

I’ve read Fired Up and Bared to you. Fired Up is a fast paced fun read. Bared to you is really erotic. I’ve not read The First Prophet so I vote for that one so you can tell me if I need to bump it up on my TBR shelf. :may19

LOL Hey, that sounds like a good deal. I’m curious about the Sylvia Day, but must say erotica is not usually my cuppa tea. :may29
I do love fast-paced, but Hooper is usually a quick read, too. Fingers crossed, anyway. :may34

Sylvia is very good though. It’s a story with erotica thrown in. I’m not a big fan of sex, sex, sex, HEA. I want some meat in there. Er, by “meat” I mean “story”. :mat27

I haven’t read any of them, so my advice is just to go with your gut. And remember, there really is no wrong choice – I’m sure you’ll end up loving whichever one you decide on :may14
