open for winter
Well, our mild weather has taken a turn & thrust us right into the middle of all things Winter—snow, ice, wind, & freezing temperatures. I don’t know about you, but I am not enjoying it. :cold:
Still, it gave us a chance to update The Dungeon sidebar. With—you guessed it—Winter funnies! :winter:

The funnies brightened an otherwise dreary cold day. I haz a sad cause the hunk isn’t showing up (maybe he is cold?) and also cause the Goblin King is dead.

Y’know, HUNK wasn’t showing up last night when I was updating things, either…but he’s there now. I don’t know what’s going on. :help: It may very well be the cold…I mean, he isn’t exactly dressed for Winter. :cold:
I just heard about David Bowie. I wasn’t a huge fan, except of his duet with Bing Crosby on “The Little Drummer Boy,” but it’s still sad. ?

There’s hardly any snow, but the temperature has been around -25ºC (-13ºF). I feel sorry for the animals that can’t even dig themselves a nice hole in the snow where it wouldn’t quite so cold.
I read about David Bowie on todays B.C. comic strip page on GoComics. Considering the comics are done days or even weeks beforehand, todays comic is kind of eerie:

well, the hunk of the month isn’t showing up on my feed either, and after the last two weeks i could use some cheering up. just spent 2 weeks in the hospital, i had bypass surgery on my left leg, still may lose a toe and the foot is still numb but came home today to be greeted by a cat who was SO happy to see his mommy. he hasn’t left my side!!
